What is Taylorist.com?

It is an online shopping store which is selling clothing and fashion products like t-shirts, polo shirts, pants, shoes, accessories, bowling shirts, etc. However, there are so many things you must know about this online store before choosing it as your shopping destination.

Mobikari / Taylorist is categorized to be a doubtful site because of the following reasons:

Company Address:

Its parent company’s name and address is given as TOP LIFESTYLE LIMITED: 212 Horton Road, Datchet, Slough, England, SL3 9HL and that is also by taking a screenshot of the company’s name instead of directly writing the company’s name on its website. Normally, the scam sites have provided their company’s address in that way so that no one can find them by searching on Google. this address turns out to be an address of a residential home as per Google Search (source: rightmove.co.uk). The same parent company's name and address is found to be used by other suspicious sites BowTops, Colelink, Skyiens, SunHanie, ModlilyStyle, Linaville, Zoegal, Astroster, Danaenvy, and so on. This makes it clear it is trying to hide the information, so we shall not trust such a company for any kind of online shopping.

Its email address i.e. service@mobikari.com is not related to its domain name.

Discount and Sales offers:

It is selling items at unrealistic discounted price which is too good to be true and only the problematic sites can afford to offer such discounts.

Copied content:

We found that the product images used by this online store for its product catalog aren’t unique, so it means that it has either copy-pasted the image from other websites or just reselling clothing or other products. Lots of content as well as its website theme match with multiple suspicious and problematic sites.

Its domain name i.e. Taylorist.com and website name i.e. Mobikari are different but legit websites don’t put their website name differently than their domain name and this name is also used on its website pages instead of its domain name which is very unprofessional.

Returns and Exchange:

It has a Return and Exchange Policy which is found to be very unrealistic to be eligible for the return and exchange of items. So, it is almost impossible to get the full payment back from these kinds of websites due to their confusing provisions.

Customer Complaints and Delivery:

The customer support as well as delivery time of sites similar to this site is also very poor as per the complaints received from the buyers of similar kinds of sites.

Our Final Verdict:

From all the above mentioned facts, it is clear that Taylorist / Mobikari is one of the suspicious websites.

These days multiple new online stores are claiming to sell various items on huge discount, but most of them are scams. So, it’s better to stay away from the new online stores or at least do some research before you purchase something from the new online stores because most of these new online stores don’t deliver the purchased items to their clients or, deliver completely different or very low-quality items. Some scam online stores even have charged the credit card of clients randomly without their consent. So, if you have ever purchased mistakenly from scam sites, we suggest you immediately contact your bank or credit card company to secure your credit card information.

Good Luck !

  1. I purchased three bowling shirts for $80.00. The size was a 3XL tall. The shirts are clearly not close to a 3XL tall. I have emailed them numerous times. They didn't reply originally but when they did they offered a 10% refund. $10???????? I emailed them back and haven't gotten a reply. Just wondering what it would cost to ship to that house in England?
