What is Hipkate .com?

It is an online shopping store that is selling clothing and fashion products such as Dresses, Bottoms, Coats and Jackets, Swimsuits, Jumpsuits, Accessories, etc. However, there are so many things you must know about it before choosing it as your shopping destination.

Hipkate is classified as one of the problematic sites because of the following drawbacks on its website:

Company Address:

Its parent company’s name and address is given on Contact Us and Terms and Conditions pages as TOP LIFESTYLE LIMITED: 212 Horton Road, Datchet, Slough, England, SL3 9HL and that is also by taking a screenshot of the company’s name instead of directly writing the company’s name on its website. Normally, the scam sites have provided their company’s address in that way so that no one can find them by searching on Google. this address turns out to be an address of a residential home as per Google Search (source: rightmove.co.uk). The same parent company's name and address is found to be used by other problematic sites like Colinlist, Clarkeio-Na, BowTops, Colelink, Skyiens, SunHanie, ModlilyStyle, Linaville, Zoegal, Astroster, Danaenvy, and so on. So, this makes it a very suspicious website. Hence we shall not trust such an unprofessional company for the online shopping.

At the time of this review, it has provided its parent company name and address TOP LIFESTYLE LIMITED: 212 Horton Road, Datchet, Slough, England, SL3 9HL, however, in the future it may change its parent company name and address since similar types of sites did change their parent company names and addresses in the past.

Security of the website:

It has provided the fake trust seal logo of Norton, McAfee, etc. on its few Product Details pages. So if you shop at this site, your personal and financial information such as your credit card information might be stolen.

Discount and Sales offers:

It is claiming to sell lots of products at heavy discount rates. You should know that these days mostly scam sites are offering such huge discounts to attract people into their scam.

Copied content:

We found that the product images used for its product catalog aren’t unique, so it means that this site has either copy-pasted the image from other websites or just reselling clothing or other products. Lots of details provided on its website, including its website theme match with multiple problematic sites.

Returns and Exchange:

It has a Return Policy which is found to be very unrealistic for the return and exchange of items. It has stated that you will be responsible for the shipping costs returning your item. So, it is almost impossible to get the full payment back from these kinds of websites due to their confusing provisions.

Customer Complaints and Delivery:

The customer support as well as delivery time of sites similar to this site is also very poor as per the complaints received from the buyers of similar kinds of sites.

Our Final Verdict:

Summing up the aforementioned reasons, it can be concluded that Hipkate is one of the suspicious websites.

You can find the lots of suspicious sites listed within our “Suspicious” category by clicking >HERE< or you can find about various kinds of scams by scrolling within our “Scams” category by clicking >HERE< or you can navigate our website through our home page to find out the several interesting and knowledgeable articles under different categories by clicking >HERE<.

If you want to say something about this company, then please feel free to place your comment below. Also feel free to share this review with your friends and families through your social media accounts to make them aware of this online store.

These days multiple new online stores are claiming to sell various items on huge discount, but most of them are scams. So, it’s better to stay away from the new online stores or at least do some research before you purchase something from the new online stores because most of these new online stores don’t deliver the purchased items to their clients or, deliver completely different or very low-quality items. Some scam online stores even have charged the credit card of clients randomly without their consent. So, if you have ever purchased mistakenly from scam sites, we suggest you immediately contact your bank or credit card company to secure your credit card information.

Good Luck!

  1. I am so disappointed. apparently I was scammed. Why doesn't someone of authority step in and shut this site down? Facebook should be more careful what they put on their website. I was so looking forward to getting the merchandise that I was getting.

  2. I work for a law firm, so am naturally suspicious about 'bargain' websites which advertise on Facebook. I also got caught by a spoof Clarkes Shoes offer a few years ago, which took 7 months to get my money back via my bank. Since then, I've been ultra careful and always look on Trust Pilot and search other reviews to see whether it's safe to buy from a company. Having seen the Trust Pilot review - and yours - I definitely won't be buying. I note that their registered company address has recently changed on the Companies House website to 30 Charing Cross Road, London - and a lot of other companies also seem to be registered there.

  3. I too was looking forward to buying one of their t shirts but I did wonder whether there were copyright issues because the T Shirt related to an Eagles song "Hotel California" Oh well glad I checked. Sadly doing that a lot lately.

  4. I will be stopping payment! No one should order from this site. It is a scam just so they can get your credit card information! I never got any confirmation for my phone order!

  5. I ordered a bathing suit .. got the wrong one and did not get a headband.. They sent an email
    Dear customer,

We tender you our apology for the inconvenience this error may have caused you.

We are working hard to produce products that all customers love. Please Don’t worry. The quality of our products is guaranteed. This product is also one of our bestselling products.

Shipping costs will be relatively expensive and it will take a long time if you return the product to us. Therefore, we recommend that you keep this product and we will give you a 15% refund for this wrong item?

Looking forward to your reply and thank you for your understanding.

    Have a nice day.

    Thanks
    Best Regards
I want what I ordered. They are a real pain.

  6. I'm so disappointed! I was so excited over one particular shirt I loved and ordered in May. Nothing yet. I read your cautionary remarks and will not do this again. I'm surprised my Norton didn't pick up on it as a suspicious site.

  7. This company is a scam, I placed an order with Hipkate.com and the charge on my credit card showed Hipkate.com but the confirmation of my order came from a company called Skyiens. I immediately told them I did not know who they were and I wanted my order canceled. They proceed to tell me that my order was already being processed and that I would have to pay a 10% service commission, and this was 10 minutes after ther order was placed. If you look at Hipkate.com and Skyiens.com they are exactly the same. SCAM SCAM SCAM…..
