These days multiple new online stores are claiming to sell various items on huge discount, but most of them are scams. Definitely a scam site. I ordered storage boxes through a facebook ad and they sent me scarves instead. When I contacted them, they claimed there was a mixup at their shipper and I would have to ship back the scarves to China on my own dime before they could issue a refund. Or I could keep the scarves and they'd refund me 20% of my payment for the boxes. At that point I just filed a claim with my credit card company.
The website is definitely a scam. I was wary of the site due to the layout being suspiciously like others I've seen before (and had problems with), but I wanted to try for the folding storage crates that looked neat.
I suspected it would be one of those knockoff scenarios where the factory in China made extras of what they were commissioned, and then put the extras out for cheaper and before delivering the original order to the client, but I instead received a package with 2 scarves (instead of 2 sets of crates).
The customer service response was that there was an error in shipping, and that if I sent the package back, they would send me what I ordered (but only after it arrived). They also seemed very insistent that I could pay for the item I received (at a "discount"). The address they gave lacked a zip code, so I googled it to get the zip, and that's when I stumbled across lots of complaints that all had the same e-mail response and return address from people who'd been scammed from other stores
I feel I've been scammed by Tourniu. I ordered 2 sets of storage boxes that never arrived even though they took my payment. There's no tracking information and no customer care number. Even finding them on Google was fruitless. De-reviews has two reviews on Google, one saying it's legit and one saying it's suspicious. Way to cover your but de-reviews.
