What is Kowalaa.com?

It is an online shopping store which is selling tops, bottoms, outerwear, dresses, shoes, accessories, etc. On top of that, there are so many things you must know about this site before choosing it as your shopping destination.

We have categorized Kowalaa as one of the suspicious sites because of the following reasons:

Company Address:

The company’s address and contact phone number are not furnished on its “Contact Us or About Us” details or anywhere else on its website whereas legit companies always provide such information on their websites. This makes it clear that this site is trying to hide the information, so we shall not trust such a company for our online shopping destination.

Copied Content:

We found that the product images used for its product catalog aren’t unique, so it means that this site has either copy-pasted the image from other websites or just reselling clothing. Lots of content as well as the its website theme are also matching with other similar type of sites.

Discount and Sales offers:

It is selling some of the products at an unrealistic heavy discount price which is too good to be true. Only the scam companies can offer such cheap prices but not genuine ones.

Returns and Exchange:

It has a Return and Exchange Policy which makes its buyer is responsible for return shipping cost. Hence this policy is found to be very unrealistic and bogus to be eligible for the return and exchange of the products. Thus, it is almost impossible to get back a full refund amount from these kinds of sites due to their confusing provisions.

Customer Complaints and Delivery:

The customer support as well as delivery time of sites similar to Kowalaa is also very poor as per the complaints received from the buyers of similar kinds of sites.

Our Final Verdict:

Above are some of the realities which clarify that Kowalaa is one of the suspicious websites.

You can find the lots of suspicious sites listed within our “Suspicious” category by clicking >HERE< or you can find about various kinds of scams by scrolling within our “Scams” category by clicking >HERE< or you can navigate our website through our home page to find out the several interesting and knowledgeable articles under different categories by clicking >HERE<.

If you want to say something about this company, then please feel free to place your comment below. Also feel free to share this review with your friends and families through your social media accounts to make them aware of this online store.

These days multiple new online stores are claiming to sell various items on huge discount, but most of them are scams. So, it’s better to stay away from the new online stores or at least do some research before you purchase something from the new online stores because most of these new online stores don’t deliver the purchased items to their clients or, deliver completely different or very low-quality items. Some scam online stores even have charged the credit card of clients randomly without their consent. So, if you have ever purchased mistakenly from scam sites, we suggest you immediately contact your bank or credit card company to secure your credit card information.

Good Luck !

  1. Purchased 3 tops, they feel like plastic, I have never felt such cheap bad fabric, they do not look at all like they do on their ads, I am attempting to send all 3 of them back, shame as they did look great on the photos ...... They are very undersized as well, they were supposed to be oversize flowing tops, and they were the exact opposite to that.

  2. My Opinion is DO NOT BUY FROM this place .

Items very Unsatisfactory. Peace sign is upside down on jewelry. Ordered a 5 x shirt and received a small of a shirt I did not order. Colors are awful. Other Clothes I received are all extremely thin and not made well.

So I have 4 items I can not use and it is incredibly hard to try and get a refund. They do not answer emails and no phone number is available. Guess I am out $100.

  3. Unfortunately, I purchased from them. Cheap polyester knock offs that are nothing like the pictures...sizes way off, designs not even close to what is depicted in pictures and thy smell awful. Cant be bothered returning...they're garbage and that's where they're going...in the garbage!! Disappointed but lesson learned!!!

  4. Thanks for reviews. Yes, they do look great online. I was going to order. I will say just because you have to pay return shipping is not a reason. QVC etc you have to pay return shipping unless there is a problem with the item. Now paying to Asia is another matter though. Also, waiting 3 months...that is really not something to knock them for now with the Pandemic. Overseas shipping is really a problem this past year.

  5. Cheap, nasty and not as described. Steer clear from these people. Offering 15% refund on purchase price.. what a joke? The clothes are only good to wear to a costume party.

  6. I am relieved i did not have to wait 3 months to get my top. its not the greatest material but i like it, and it is the right size.

    1. I ordered some tops from a similar website Dec 2019 for a vacation to Maui Feb.1 2020. They arrived 2 days before leaving. I was so excited because as all of you pointed out, the pics show beautiful tops. Besides taking 6 weeks to arrive, when I opened package the smell was terrible. Cheap awful fabric (if you want to call it fabric), appearance nothing close to what I ordered and clearly way to small. When I discovered cost of returning, I threw them out as it would of cost more to return. Today I came across web page on FB showing some nice tops, and scrolling through i I came across a few tops I recognized from that similar web store in 2019 for my Maui trip. Needless to
say I didn't order anything. BUYER BEWARE there are thousands of these rip off web stores. If in doubt Google reviews for the web store your browsing before purchasing. Don't look at reviews they post on web store, they are bogus, showing only 5* reviews.

  7. I purchased from them, regrettably. The items are nothing like the photos, they are horrible, cheap and nasty imitations. The sizing is all wrong too. They took 3 months to arrive. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

    1. I totally agree with Kristin. I placed an order for my daughter's 27th bday thru this company. The clothes looked so cute in the pics.... And the prices were awesome. WHAT A JOKE the pieces turned out to be. What FINALLY arrived (and very late, after her bday) were Horrible Knock off pieces. Cheap polyester fabric... Colors were off, and not pretty and vibrant like the pics. And the sizing was a total joke. I ordered an extra larges for her, and what arrived were size smalls, with the tags changed to xl. PLEASE PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK. REALLY RESEARCH THESE SITES BEFORE YOU GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARDS. I wish i had before i spent $100 with them. Truly... They are crooks....and i PROMISE you will regret sending them any money. Beware of sister sites as well.. They all mostly have strange spelled names.... And are all related in some way.

  8. I placed an order from this company. However, thanks to these reviews I have since reported it to my bank and they are handling the situation. Thank you so much ladies for posting these. I wish I had seen them sooner. Lesson learned.

  9. Refund process is ridiculous , have to send to China and you pay for it . Plus my pkg was damaged threw transit , and No refund , or so sent it off for replacement I paid handling fees .
Advertisement states free shipping and returns ...totally false !
    Beware !!!

  10. I ordered items 54 days ago , and I still have received all of them , the items I did receive were not the correct size , in order me to get a full refund , I had ship items to China on my own expense .
I would advise not to order from them .
    False information and misleading .
I’m trying currently to get a refund for the item that is lost / misplaced during shipment .
    ?

  11. Yes - Kowalaa is a scam site! I also purchased a top I saw on Facebook. The blouse is nothing like the photo - including design, colors, fabric, and size. The material is like plastic, stinks, and is full of static-electricity. It's huge even though it's a size small. It took a very long time to arrive, and obviously is not made by designers in the U.S. but came from somewhere overseas. I VERY SELDOM leave a negative review, but encourage you not to waste your time purchasing a product from this site that looks gorgeous in the photo but is a sham in person. There is nowhere to review this so-called company either. Frustrating!

  12. Total rip off out of China! Yes they sent the merchandise but it did not look anything like the photos, cheap materials and sizes off. When I wanted to return they said I would have to pay for shipping back to China and it would be easier and cheaper for me to accept a 15% discount and keep merchandise and have it altered to fit! For one of the blouses they sent wrong size and when I sent pictures of label and order they kept telling me I didn't send any pictures, which I indeed did 5 times! Don't order from them! I also I think I will report them to Facebook because that is where ad showed up on.

  13. Add Zolucky to the list of scams, ads on Facebook. There are several sellers on Amazon doing the same. They steal pictures from legitimate sites, then make the clothing in China made of cheap and disgusting fabric. I think it should be up to Facebook and Amazon to scrutinize their paid advertisers.

  14. I ordered a top on 2/27 and it arrived on 3/20. It was the correct size and style as the picture online. Quality is good and I’m happy with my purchase. However the name on the packages return is not Kowalaa but it says Alejandro Ruiz from Carson, California. I will try ordering again and hope for the same good results.
