I have been scammed too! I order the 26” retractable baton and never received it.. That was over 3 months ago. I have tried customer service route and have received no results! $74 out the window!! Never again will I order from Facebook or any social media outlet!
I ordered a 16" retractable "tool" it took almost 6 weeks to get it but when it arrived I loved it. Very good quality. Not long after I ordered the 26" retractable "walking" stick. Well, I got screwed, never arrived. Facebook is so quick to censor you because of their mickey mouse community standards but yet porno and ripoff scam sites run rampant and unchecked. Why.????
So I ordered the retractable tool and it was actually delivered. Unfortunately it deploys but does not retract. $60 and they first offered me $4 and now this morning they offered me $6.
Do I have any other options??
I lost about$100 dollars for 2 retractable 16” multi tools. Got bogus tracking info. Started in Spain then into US. This is from November of 2022.
Same thing happened to me! I had to put a claim in though Paypal. 4 months later I got the order. Terrible company! I tell everyone I know not to do business with them!
Well, I guess they got me too. My order of the retractable baton has been in two places with different tracking numbers, one says still in China as of 16 Jan 23, the other in transit in Richmond VA since 6 Jan 23. Answers from company are generic with no specific information about who the carrier is.
I ordered an Enhanced Retractable Multi-Tool from Backroundn on 15NOV22. The last update I received was that it was in transit in the U.S. on 15DEC22. Since then, not a single update. I reached out to the company several times, but all I get is a canned copy/pasted statement saying my order has been shipped and instructing me to be patient. Definitely smells like a scam to me, I wouldn't order ANYTHING from them.
Looking like a scam to me. I placed an order with them through one of their Facebook ads. The order was made on 12/7/22, order #LJY501S101595 Payment was made and apperantly a phony tracking update process began. I received updates up until 1/5/23 where it had supposedly arrived in Colorado Springs, Co. Now after 5 attempts at any type of update I get nothing but crickets… Do not order from them.
