What is Babymew.com?

It is an online shopping store which is selling clothing and fashion products like women's tops, shoes, dresses, swimsuits, men's shoes, etc. However, there are so many things you must know about this site before choosing it as your shopping destination.

We have categorized Babymew as one of the suspicious sites because of the following reasons:

Company Address:

It has provided its address on its ABOUT US page as FLAT/RM 408B 4/F LIPPO SUN PLAZA 28 CANTON ROAD TSIM SHA TSUI KL, HONGKONG,999077. However, Google Maps can’t find the exact match of this address. And there is no business with the name Babymew or (HK)BLACKBOOM INTERNET INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CO., LIMITED that has been mentioned on or around the partial match address as well. Instead, Google Maps shows other businesses on or around the partial match address which are The Sun Arcade, T Galleria By DFS, Hong Kong, Canton Road, Giorgio Armani, Didi's Jewellery Limited, Jetour Mall, etc. It hasn’t provided the contact phone number. Hence, we shall not trust such a company for any kind of online shopping.

Its provided email address i.e. " babymewshop@foxmail.com” is also a free email address but not a domain-specific one.

Discount and Sales offers:

It is selling some of the products on unrealistic discounted price that is too good to be true.

Copied content:

We found that the product images used for its product catalog aren’t unique, so it means that this online store has either copy-pasted the image from other websites or just reselling clothing. Lots of content as well as website themes match with multiple suspicious and problematic sites.

Likewise, it has mentioned the website name of another website rather than its own on its Terms and Conditions, etc. pages i.e. Lanlulu but it has not provided any details about its link with that website whereas legit companies always mention their connection with other sister websites if any.

Customer Complaints and Delivery:

The customer support as well as delivery time of sites similar to this site are also very poor as per the complaints received from the buyers of similar kinds of sites.

Our Final Verdict:

Bases on the aforementioned facts, it can be concluded that Babymew is one of the suspicious websites.

These days multiple new online stores are claiming to sell various items on huge discount, but most of them are scams. So, it’s better to stay away from the new online stores or at least do some research before you purchase something from the new online stores because most of these new online stores don’t deliver the purchased items to their clients or, deliver completely different or very low-quality items. Some scam online stores even have charged the credit card of clients randomly without their consent. So, if you have ever purchased mistakenly from scam sites, we suggest you immediately contact your bank or credit card company to secure your credit card information.

Good Luck !

  1. I bought a pair of green men's shoes and they sent me brown ones. they took 15 days delivery and I received another shoe color

  2. Babymew is acting like a scam. I purchased 2 shirts beginning of May and just received them shipped direct from China. The shirts are huge (I did order XL but based on the size chart it should of fit but it was inches bigger wider and overall huge). The fabric poor and looked like it had a blown up photo of the print on the original shirt I ordered. It was boxy with a tshirt neck, not the pretty scoop neck or the shirt with more of a fitted look.
Beside this there was NO company name on anything, just a friendly reminder not to ship back to China but to connect with their Customer service on their site. Again no company name and in over a month I had forgotten it.
Searched my email; no confirmation email from mystery company. Finally found Paypal receipt and on this a mysterious name (not companies) and an email address. I emailed them. Got a reply to contact them through their website. No name given. No website.
Started Dispute proceedings with Paypal. They wanted pictures, what I got and original photos. I finally found company and original photos. And besides the time I've taken I'm doubly angry that they're the company with the cute orange cat head marking on my phone as a shortcut! This was supposed to be a nice treat for myself and instead it's sucked me in.
Paypal asked me to connect to company. I have and I explained I want a free return and refund.
I'm spreading the word. They are a scam! We'll see if they are honorable at all!
    Probably donating to Goodwill.
Only upside is I've learned and next time I'll look for reviews like this or stick to brand stores I know.
