FAQs:

How to get your money back from scammers?

If you discover that you have made a purchase from an illegitimate online store, it is vital to take immediate action. Without delay, contact your bank or credit card company to seek their assistance in obtaining a refund. If you used PayPal for the payment, open a dispute through your PayPal account and seek guidance from their support team. Ensure that you provide a detailed account of the situation, including all relevant information and any supporting evidence you may have. Acting swiftly greatly increases the likelihood of receiving a refund and effectively resolving the issue with the fraudulent online store.

What to do if I get completely different item than what I purchase?

If you discover that the product you received is significantly cheaper or differs completely from your original order, it is advisable to obtain the tracking information from the post office. This documentation contains crucial details such as the delivery address and the weight of the item. It is common for the weight of the received item to be lower than that of the intended item. Sharing this information with your bank, credit card company, or PayPal can greatly strengthen your case for a refund. Many individuals who have provided such evidence to their financial institution or payment service provider have successfully obtained full refunds with their support.

  1. Definitely a scam website. I received the product I ordered...it was extremely low quality and didn't function as advertised. I have contacted them numerous times requesting a refund and they attempted to just send me a replacement which I didn't't want- just more landfill. There website says 100 day refund guarantee....I contacted them for a refund on the day I receive it. Their own Facebook reviews are bad

  2. I have also had a problem with this Company. Outdoor Toolbox which is registered as Digitech P/L 2/8/2022, Head Office in Hillcrest SA 5086, they also quote a warehouse in Sydney. I ordered on 7/12/23 (processing) and chased up on 20/12/23 without an update. My order was then updated (pending) OT then quoted an Australia Post Con note which didn't exist on the system. I then submitted a lost enquiry with Australia Post and then I contacted by bank to stop payment. I received an email from the OT customer service supervisor on Xmas Day which I responded to, and believe it or not received my order today 28/12/23. Buyer beware, I also wish that I had read the other reviews listed here. The quality of item I received was not that greatest but the delay of delivery and excuses have missed a Birthday date and Xmas. I agree, items are sourced from overseas and oversell or the stock items are out of stock at the time of sale.

  3. It sounds like this website/company is similar to “gnmot.shop” with whom I have had an unsatisfactory experience…SCAMMED.
    Don Cave

  4. Wish I had of come on here to check to see if this was a legit site.
I've used a buy now pay later to make purchase. Everything went smoothly,
got an invoice emailed but when I found a 1800 number to call and quoted
the invoice number was told it was not them. Have tried emailing back to them from the invoice and you guessed it, crickets.
Hopefully will have some luck with buy now pay later company

  5. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY
HAVE PURCHASED MY ITEM IN SEPTEMBER 2023 AND STILL HAS NOT ARRIVED HAVE CONTACT WITH OUTDOOR TOOLBOX NOW THEY WON'T EVEN RETURN MY EMAIL OR CHAT LINE.
WILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN.
NOW DEPT OF FAIR TRADING ARE INVOLVED

  6. Scam!!!!! I ordered a 3 in 1 cutter for $150 on 25/09/23 and have not received it. I have emailed the company twice and they are completely unprofessional and told me that once it’s in the Freight companies hands it’s no longer their problem. I have now emailed the Freight company and they aren’t much help either. I have tracking numbers. But what makes me very suspicious is that you cannot find a phone number. I will be ringing my bank tomorrow and putting it in the hands of their Fraudulent section. Don’t buy anything from these people

  7. Scam , ordered and paid for a cordless grass cutter over a month ago , haven’t received yet. No contact number, no one answers email . How do O complain about them? On my invoice there is an ABN number

    1. Thanks for the information Sam, I was about to make a purchase of 3 in mower ,after reading your comments and few others I have changed my mind not to buy.

  8. Shipped from China, the quality of the product is very poor, it is not recommended to buy here, and the service is very poor, you will only be unlucky if you buy it!

  9. I have just made a purchase of 149.00 dollars and hope to receive my item..
They have sent me an invoice with an order number on it..
    Time will tell....

    1. Hi Robert, I too have sent away for two items to Outdoor toolbox recently. I did this end of October '23. They have not yet arrived.
I am only writing to ask if you ever did receive your items from September?

  10. 4th August payment $149.99 via visa credit card, no confirmation, sent email and was asked for the order no and a screen shot which I did not have. Sent several emails with a photo copy of the payment made on my visa credit card. Did this today and so far no reply. Will let you know if anything occurs.
