So, it’s better to stay away from the new online stores or at least do some research before you purchase something from the new online stores because most of these new online stores don’t deliver the purchased items to their clients or, deliver completely different or very low-quality items. i ordered a blanket, thought it was a quality one but started suspecting something else when the shipping was from china. There were not any kind of mentions at all that the products come from china, would have never ordered if i would have known. Do not trade with Moderny. The customer service stopped as i wanted to get my money back and return the crappy acrylic, chemical smelling blanket i got after more than four weeks of waiting since shipment. Never again!
I NEVER would have ordered had I known the pillow cover was made in china. There is NO mention of this anywhere on their site. It has now been weeks, and will be weeks more apparently before I receive just so I can return it. I told them I should not have to pay return shipping since I never would have purchased to begin with, had I known it was coming from China. They have NOT been good about replying to my emails and I hate I wasted money on this site.

Scam – avoid, buy something for $40 and only way to return is with an $80 return label. The customer service then stops talking (a red flag). Complete scam
Product took over 3 weeks to arrive from China and the pillows were literally flattened to the thickness of a magazine. The color was supposed to be gold and was yellow. They did reply to emails promptly but made the return process difficult and we will see if I get a partial refund.
My friend just found her artwork for sale on cushions on this site! Stolen from her Etsy listings (she sells as canvas prints only). They could only have grabbed a low res image to print for starters, but she’s obviously very upset by this ?
Realize this was over a year ago, but just now seeing.I would suggest your friend first report it to Etsy, because if Moderny did it to her, they likely did it to others. Next, I would have her go to her state bar association and see if she can find an attorney willing to work pro bono in copyright infringement.
The designs might be made in America but the item is made in China and shipped from China and takes weeks to get. I do not recommend shopping Moderny
I ordered some cushion covers, and they arrived quickly however the print on the cushions was LOW RES!!! I am a graphic designer, I can’t bare to see a pixilated image sitting on my couch! Quality of the fabric was ok. Also, the foil wasn’t a foil at all, just a cheap screen print. Straight to the bin!
I ordered from here and I did indeed get my order, credit card was charged only once and they did respond to my email however the cushion covers I ordered were yellow not gold as advertised. They said that it is as they appear on the website (product is advertised as gold) so they will not refund my money.
Same happened to me! Debited my credit card in three payments!! What a scam and they are showing up everywhere!
I ordered pillow cases and pillow inserts on April 3. Tracking originated in China and stopped updating on April 20 in Denver. Today is May 4 and no updates or delivery to my home in Montana.
