If the provided trust seals are not clickable or if they don’t send you to the official verification webpages of respective trust seal providers when you click on them, then you should know those are fake trust seals. You should avoid all online stores with fake trust seal logos. In the case of GetTVBuddy, we have found the fake trust seal logos of McAfee and Norton on its checkout page.
# Most of the scam online stores don’t provide their company’s address or contact phone number. Some scam online stores provide fake contact details. So, always check the provided contact details are real or not before shop from any new online stores. In the case of GetTVBuddy, it has provided its contact phone number as +1 (888) 887-4087 (it has now deleted this contact phone number). However, another site known as ShopClipperPro.com is using the same contact phone number. If one legit company is operating multiple sites with the same contact information, then they will mention that on their website. However, GetTVBuddy hasn't mentioned anywhere about its link with ShopClipperPro which makes it very suspicious. Even the lots of details provided on the ShopClipperPro website match with GetTVBuddy such as its Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Website Theme and so on. GetTVBuddy has provided its parent company's name and address as "Strong Current Enterprises Limited, 68308, G/F Kowloon East Building, 12 Lei Yue Mun Road, Kwung Tong, Hong Kong". However, it has mentioned on its "Terms of Service" that its Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of British Columbia and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia. But, British Columbia is from Canda, not from Hong Kong. Now, why Terms of Service of any company from the Hong Kong will be governed by the laws of Canada? This makes GetTVBuddy more suspicious.
# Most of the scam online stores sell items at a very cheap price, so always be cautious with online stores that offer you the items on sale at a very cheap price. If something is too good to be true, then most of the time that is not true. GetTVBuddy is also offering a 50% discount rate.
# Most of the scam online stores copy-paste lots of details from other scam websites. So, check the details like product details, product images, website theme, Terms of Service, About Us details, Privacy Policy, Return Policy and so on provided on any online stores match with other sites or not. Also, try to find blunders. For example, some online stores mention their Terms of Service is governed by the laws of some country but provide their company’s address which belongs to another country. So, if you find such copy-paste blunders in any online store, you should know they are not good online stores. In the case of GetTVBuddy, we have found it has copy-pasted lots of details from other websites such as its Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and so on.
# Try to find out the complaints posted by users. Most of the time you can find out lots of complaints posted by users of online stores if they are not doing good. Scam online stores always have a bunch of complaints and very few or almost zero positive reviews. So, check the complaints around the internet for any online stores before you purchase something from those online stores.

I ordered the tv buddy mid-month of April. I have lost my tracking number someplace. Could I get some assistance as to the shipping of the tv buddy?
I have changed my mind. Dont want TV Buddy tried calling customer service not able to speak to anyone getting questions about a survey. I just want my refund.
If they don't reply to you, then you should contact your bank or credit card company and ask them to help you with a refund.

I have not received my tvbuddy
Please understand there is a reason for all the poor reviews because they are TRUE! Should be NO stars. I saw those before ordering but thought it might be worth a try. When the product doesn't work, you will NOT get a refund upon return. When you finally get in contact, you will be instructed to return the product for refund. AFTER return it is a litany of excuses, including the product was opened, damaged or you failed to keep the tracking number. Take my word, walk away from this FRAUD
We purchased TV Buddy online, paid by credit card. The TV Buddy arrived, though a week or two later than expected. Customer support was proactive in progressing the delivery.
After receiving it, we decided we did not want it and emailed TV Buddy customer support to arrange return and refund. We received no response to the email after a couple of days, so phoned the UK customer support number. They were then very responsive - they emailed the return address which was in Holland and advised the process. We posted the TV Buddy (paid extra for tracking). It arrived in Holland a few days later and, immediately after they received it, we received an email advising receipt and confirming that a refund had been arranged. The refund has just come through - for the full amount paid, including the initial post and packaging cost. So, from initially thinking we had we been scammed, we can confirm that the TV Buddy and the company does exist and they have acted with complete integrity in terms of accepting and refunding our returned item.
