In the case of DHgate, we have found the legit trust seal logo of Norton/VeriSign on the bottom of its website but the SecureTrust logo doesn't seem to be legit since Trustwave can't recognize the SecureTrust logo presented on the bottom of DHgate website.
# Most of the scam online stores don’t provide their company’s address or contact phone number. Some scam online stores provide fake contact details. So, always check the provided contact details are real or not before shop from any new online stores. In the case of DHgate, we can't find its detailed company's address or contact phone number. The listed suppliers also haven't provided their detailed company's address. They have only mentioned they are from China but haven't provided their exact location in China. However, they have claimed that DHport.com belongs to their China Manufacturers whose USA office address is "1706 E Francis St, Ontario, CA 91761" and Russian office address is "Moscow, Moscow Ring Road, 72nd kilometer, d 23". But, when we checked these addresses, we can't find the exact match of Russian office address on Google Maps and according to "yelp.com", the provided USA address "1706 E Francis St, Ontario, CA 91761" belongs to Yawa store. But, we can't find any connection between the Yawa store and DHport or DHgate.
# Most of the scam online stores sell items at a very cheap price, so always be cautious with online stores that offer you the items on sale at a very cheap price. If something is too good to be true, then most of the time that is not true. DHgate is also offering a heavy discount rate on lots of products listed on its website.
# Most of the scam online stores copy-paste lots of details from other scam websites. So, check the details like product details, product images, website theme, Terms of Service, About Us details, Privacy Policy, Return Policy and so on provided on any online stores match with other sites or not. Also, try to find blunders. For example, some online stores mention their Terms of Service is governed by the laws of some country but provide their company’s address which belongs to another country. So, if you find such copy-paste blunders in any online store, you should know they are not good online stores. In the case of DHgate, we didn't find copy-paste details but if you can find any, you can notify us by placing the comment below.
# Try to find out the complaints posted by users. Most of the time you can find out lots of complaints posted by users of online stores if they are not doing good. Scam online stores always have a bunch of complaints and very few or almost zero positive reviews. I bought a crap jacket and then returned back from my own 130$+20$ cargo so I need my refund 150$.
The crap seller tao20020888 ignoring the money and DHgate ignoring the money and both playing a silly and stupid way to keep not sending my refund back by ignoring not to answer my message or by giving false information, false promise and false solution.
Now my brother's life in danger and those 150$ will save my brother's life because he needs an emergency operation.
I need my 150$ ASAP.
My god send you a giant punishment!!!
