Coolightbox.com Review: Legit? Coolightbox Scam?

Coolightbox doesn’t seem to be a genuine online store. Does that mean Coolightbox is a scam? Well, let’s find out either is a Coolightbox.com scam or trustworthy and what is Coolightbox.com in real through our Coolightbox review here. So, let’s begin with our Coolightbox review.

Coolightbox complaints Coolightbox fake or real Coolightbox legit or fraud | De Reviews

Coolightbox might be a fraudulent online store due to the following reasons:-

# Although Coolightbox has provided its company’s address from the USA (9425 California St, Redlands, CA 92374) on its “Contact Us” page, however, on its “Terms and Conditions” page, it has mentioned its terms shall be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Well, why any company operating from the USA will be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom? So, this proves Coolightbox is lying about its real company’s address or it has copy-pasted its Terms and Conditions from other sites. Both ways, it is definitely not a good sign. However, every legit online store will provide the real contact information and their own Terms of Service, only scam online stores don’t care to provide the real contact information and copy-paste website details from other sites.

# Like lots of scam sites, the website Coolightbox has also poorly designed which looks similar to lots of scam sites. For example, its website theme is very untidy, it is offering a heavy discount on the price of listed products on its website, it hasn’t secured its website properly, it has copy-pasted lots of details from other websites and so on. So if you shop at this site, your personal and financial information can be stolen.

# These days multiple new online stores are claiming to sell various items on huge discount, but most of them are scams. So, it’s better to stay away from the new online stores or at least do some research before you purchase something from the new online stores because most of these new online stores don’t deliver the purchased items to their clients or, deliver completely different or very low-quality items.

# Some scam online stores even have charged the credit card of clients randomly without their consent. So, if you have ever purchased mistakenly from scam sites, we suggest you immediately contact your bank or credit card company to secure your credit card information.

  1. SCAM! Ordered on March 29. Told order was out of stock. By Apr 17 I was told for the 3 time they needed "a few more days". On April 28th I emailed the service inbox (their phone is just an audio recording to which I got no response) and requested a cancellation. No response unitl they sent me a shipping confirmation on April 30. I responded and told them I requested a cancellation 2 day prior and they told me I couldn't get a refund until the item was received and returned now. The tracking was generated to pacify my as the tracking info showed it just sitting in China for another week. Now (on June 10) the tracking shows it sitting somewhere in CA in a delayed status according to Yun express. I am frustrated that I was not granted a refund when I asked for it, I can't call anyone, and I can't get any information on where exactly it is or when I can expect to get it. They also took measures on their website to appear to be a US company. I wouldn't have ordered otherwise, but I should have looked for a company address as there is none listed that I saw. Still no item and no refund. I reported them to econsumer.gov

Coolightbox.com is most certainly a scam website.

@De Roka...I wish I would have seen your review before I got scammed. When I take a hard look at their website, there are other indications the site is not legit. For example, their customer service email is just a free gmail account. Also, their customer reviews are misspelled and nonsensical. Plus, who includes a professionally taken headshot of themselves when they leave positive feedback of a $30 item? No one...it’s fake.

Unfortunately, I ordered an item from them two months ago that I never received. When I ordered, they gave me a tracking number after a few days. A month later, the tracking number said the package “has been processed at the ISC (International Service Center) in New York, NY”. After another month, the package status has not changed. It does not take this long for legitimate packages to arrive.

When I contacted them by their email address, they repeatedly referred me to the tracking number. I contacted the USPS in person at my local post office. The clerk said the tracking number was the proper format for an item coming from China, but it did not arrive into the USPS system.

Anyone can generate a tracking number at very little or no expense. This gives the appearance of a legitimate transaction and allows the scammer to stall for time while they continue to cheat others out of their money.

So, we have a website that claims to have an address in California, governed by the laws of the UK, using a free Gmail account and generating tracking numbers out of China.

I feel stupid for falling victim to such a sloppy scam.

You can still get your money back. You should contact your bank or credit card company and ask them to help you with a refund. If you had paid via PayPal, open a dispute via your PayPal account. Show them this review as a reference. Explain to them everything.

      Good Luck!
