I got caught by out by boomerw, where I ordered a solar generator.
I contacted customer services and had a message from Nancy.
She/he was very helpful and seemed genuine.
It's a long story but eventually I got a refund of £34.50, I am only £14.79 out of pocket.
There were tracking numbers and using these I could see that something was delivered through my letter box. I did have a delivery and it was a silver ring. I took it to a jeweler and it was valued at £50 to £100 !!
If that's true I could be in pocket.
I'm worried that this scammer has my credit card details and they may be able to use it.
I was suspicious at the time I made the order, but there were sites offering goods at low prices elsewhere.
