Wow, what a big club I’ve joined! I ordered four of the fairy statues at the end of November 2022 and waited patiently, continually tracking my delivery as instructed by Boateng. When nothing had arrived in January 2023 I followed up and was told to be patient. A few weeks later I finally received a package. To say I was disappointed was an understatement! I also received the tacky, fluffy earmuffs which will be of great use here in sunny Queensland, Australia. I have since being emailing constantly requesting a refund. At least I have had some very politely worded replies, but still no refund. I feel a little better at having had the opportunity to vent my frustration with the company though.
I am now very hesitant to buy online.
i also fell into these scammers trick. ordered 2 garden fairies and am still waiting grr. i recieved a beanie and neck warmer instead. i wish i had read up on all the comments before ordering. it makes my blood boil that these people think its ok to take peoples money and they think nothing of it. get a flippin job.

Yep I'm another silly buyer from this site. Ordered in December 4 garden fairies. Just went to my mailbox to find a fluffy pair of earmuffs. Hope karma gets to them.
Glad I wasn't the only one who fell for this. I ordered 2 fairy ornaments and received fluffy earmuffs. I've tried emailing the address on the bottom of the order as well as Boateng itself but no reply. Surprise, surprise. I've noticed that the same adds are on facebook but using different names. I'll never buy anything from facebook adds again.

Your company and delivery service have stated that this order was delivered today. Instead of the 9 fairies I ordered, a parcel was thrown on our lawn without any attempt to contact me - I was home all morning. Inside is a pair of dirty blue 'fur' ear muffs. I most certainly do not want this disgusting item. Why wouldI want something like this in subtropical Brisbane. There was no paperwork in the parcel .
WHERE ARE THE 9 FAIRIES I ORDERED AND PAID FOR?
I have recently read reports from other customers saying that you have also ripped them off.
The parcel I received today does not fulfill you obligation to provide me with the goods I ordered.

Oh dear I have been stupid and ordered 2 fairies the week of Christmas. I see the package according to tracker has been ready for over a month to come to Australia. Emailed twice of course no reply.
Wish I had had the sense to have read these reviews here. I, too, have been totally ripped off by them. I ordered some things on 12 Dec 22 but they have never arrived. When I contacted them they refused to refund my money claiming the goods were in transit but they never arrived and are still in China. Please don't get caught like me and so many others. GRRRRRR

You have solved the problem regarding the black earmuffs I received, totally confused me as I never ordered earmuffs and didn't know where they came from, I do now!!!! Feel like a total idiot.

That are a scam store. I wished I would have known before I ordered some Christmas presents. I ordered eight of those fairies, but got one feather pen. I am like what. Then they said I had to send it back to get right order. I wrote them and said not my problem. Not wasting my time. I do have to say my bank caught the fraud and I got my refund.

Please do not buy anything from 'boateng', as it is a complete scam. I was naive enough to not notice, so I ordered two metal garden sculptures, at the beginning of December 2022. Today, January 4th 2023, I recieved a parcel from them containing, a cheap felt hat and some sort of matching felt bag ( cheap and tacky). I can't find any contact details to for boateng. Now I feel like a complaint idiot, so please stay clear of that site.

My bank refunded my money
I was going to buy some stuff from them but when I went to make an account my email was like "don't click on any links from this site, it's baaadddd" and also it says they accept PayPal but it only allows you to enter a cc # or bank information, big red flag. At least with PayPal you can easily get your money back.
I really appreciate the honesty shown here. I was about to order as a gift and then it wouldn't let me use PayPal. I don't give a credit card number to anybody unknown and decided to check them out before ordering. Thank you very much!
