Why Yahoo Removed the Comment Section? Will Yahoo Enable It?

Why did Yahoo Suspend Comment On Articles? Will Yahoo Enable The Comment Section Again?

You can't leave your comments on Yahoo articles anymore. Yahoo said that it has disabled the comment section below their articles because they don't feel comments are safe anymore. However, many people do not agree with this change. Lots of people are complaining around the internet that such changes on Yahoo block their free speech rights. However, it's their business so they have full rights either they want to keep or delete the comment section. But, this definitely can harm their business. People who are angry with this move, maybe they will stop visiting Yahoo.

Why Yahoo Disabled Comments on Yahoo Articles?

Do you think Yahoo did good or bad by disabling the comment section?

Personally, we believe in free speech and we think everyone has the right to express their opinion on public affairs. If its writers are expressing their opinion about public matters, then why don't give people an opportunity to debate on that matter? But, in the same time, it's their business, so they have full right either they want to open comments or not. If you don't like this step taken by Yahoo, then you free to avoid it.

Do you think Yahoo will enable the comment section again?

After disabling the comment section, we think it will definitely lose some visitors. So, maybe they will consider reopening the comments again if they find out too much drop in their website traffic after disabling the comment section. Anyway, it is definitely taking a business risk by disabling the comment section.

Why is Yahoo risking its own business by disabling the comment section? Do you think it did it right or wrong by removing the comment section?

We also don't know what kind of comments make them take such a big step which can even decrease the number of website visitors on their website. Yahoo has simply said that they disabled the comments for safety. So, why they feel comments are unsafe? What kind of comment can make them feel unsafe to take down the whole comment section? If you have any idea about it, then please feel free to leave your comment below to let us know either it did good or bad by removing the comment section.

Ever since they took it down, it no longer gives a reader their first amendments, they became another left-wing propaganda part of the democratic party. Granted some of the comments were out-of-line but to present facts and our own opinions based on our interoretation or faults in facts and pointing them out. This is why Trump may be the last President of the USA (Democratic precidtion), but it seems like it is of their own doing. Tyranny of the left is coming, the two party rule as not exists will fail to exist and unless a miracle in my opinion happens, we will become a banana republic (on its way) and over time we will go done as "The Rise and Fall of the USA and its Causes". I will not be here when that book is wrtten, I will feel despair for my children and their future generations. They will pay for our misdeeds.

  3. The problem with Yahoo suspending their comments section is that now there is NO way to counter their LEFT-Wing PROPAGANDA articles...... especially after they formed a partnership with the Very LEFT-Wing PROPAGANDA spreading Huffington Post......

This is Yahoo's effort to make sure that Trump does NOT get re-elected.... by spreading Anti-Trump PROPAGANDA about him.....

All the t-RUMP racist cult clowns did nothing but bash Yahoo anyway, so I always wondered, if they hated Yahoo so much, why the hell they live there in the comments section?! Every click, comment, and usual threat towards someone generated more clicks.. So someone, somewhere either posted something, or actually did something to someone to get Yahoo to remove comments and most likely revenue... Or maybe tRUMP started crying so much about people picking on him that he did something to start blocking people from exposing the liar in chief!

I like the change. I have never, and will never leave a comment. I just don't understand the appeal. All these left wing loonies have ruined it for everyone. It is my constitutional right to leave a comment calling anyone anything I want and threaten to physically assault anyone who has a problem with it. So what if I have children with my sister and have trouble eating with my very few teeth. That is my right to do so.

    1. If you don’t like it then you shouldn’t participate. Why do people like you think you have a right to make that decision for me.

  7. The articles were biased and misleading, the comments were a way to point this out. Also there was a mechanism via the 3 dots to report abuse anyway!
This is the start of the new world order folks...
