What is Wayrates.com?

It is an online shopping fashion store that is selling different products under various categories like tactical bottoms, tactical tops, sportswear, headwear, shoes, accessories, outdoor equipment etc. However, there are so many things you must know about this site before choosing it as your shopping destination.

We have categorized Wayrates as one of the suspicious sites because of the following reasons:

Company Address:

It hasn't provided its company's address or contact phone number. So it is clear that the company is trying to hide the information which makes it a suspicious site, thus we shall not trust such a company for the online shopping.

Copied Content:

The lots of content provided on its website match with other multiple scam sites and the website theme also looks untidy as in other problematic sites.

Discount and Sales offers:

It is providing unreasonable discount and sale offers on the price of lots of products they sell which seems too good to be true. This kind of strategy is mostly used by scam sites to attract people in their website.

Returns and Exchange:

It has a Return and Exchange Policy which is found to be very unrealistic and bogus which says that all return/exchange items must be returned unused and undamaged in its original packaging. It is almost impossible to get back a full refund amount from these kinds of sites due to their confusing provisions.

Customer Complaints and Delivery:

The customer support as well as delivery time of sites similar to this are also very poor as per the complaints received from the buyers of similar kinds of sites.

Our Final Verdict:

Due to the aforementioned reasons, we have come up with the conclusion that Wayrates is one of the suspicious websites.

You can find the lots of suspicious sites listed within our “Suspicious” category by clicking >HERE< or you can find about various kinds of scams by scrolling within our “Scams” category by clicking >HERE< or you can navigate our website through our home page to find out the several interesting and knowledgeable articles under different categories by clicking >HERE<.

These days multiple new online stores are claiming to sell various items on huge discount, but most of them are scams. So, it’s better to stay away from the new online stores or at least do some research before you purchase something from the new online stores because most of these new online stores don’t deliver the purchased items to their clients or, deliver completely different or very low-quality items. Some scam online stores even have charged the credit card of clients randomly without their consent. So, if you have ever purchased mistakenly from scam sites, we suggest you immediately contact your bank or credit card company to secure your credit card information.

Good Luck !

Avoid, Chinese sizes and quality is bad, Have to pay shipping back to China
I never saw these reviews and wish I had been warned. If it looks too good to be true, it usually bad in quality. The items were delayed so long I felt it was a scam. I did not know it was a Chinese manufacturer as everything I bought this year that came from there, went back as the quality is never as portrayed or the sizes are way out. The quality here is poor, cheap materials, thin with no weight, leather jackets state reviews on their site but are PVC, not cut or designed well, and items are a caricature of the ones seen on the website and in adverts. Wasted £100 and cannot send back, it appears, according to these comments here. I ordered an XXL as my size is Large or sometimes XL. The size arrives with that label, but is actually to fit a Medium. Same with other garments ordered 3 XL and appears many times larger, Other t-shirt says Large and barely looks a small. Sizes mean nothing and quality is very bad. Avoid.

Wayrates clothing is trash. The clothing used for their website photos are made of heavy canvas or a thicker, heavy duty material, so they look attractive.....but what they send you is thin, cheaply made polyester items that barely resemble the website photos.

Wayrates is a complete rip-off. Avoid it at all costs. I tried to return a coat that was too small and every time I sent in order information, they requested additional information. They finally said I could return it for a refund but I had to mail it back to China. DO NOT purchase anything from them. You'll be sorry.

  5. I wish I had seen this information first. I ordered two items. One is the wrong size and one looks nothing like the design I saw on the site. No returns information was included. I wrote and asked for returns information and they emailed to ask for photographic proof of the complaint and said once they had that they would 'negotiate. I have written to say it is my right to return the items and claim a refund. I wait to hear again.

  6. I am glad I found this site because I was seriously considering purchasing a sweater. I thought that some of the English used in product reviews was a tad off and the whole things smacks of junk Chinese rip-off stuff....thanks again for exposing these goofs!

  7. ANOTHER unhappy Customer! Wayrates' lack of information on their Site is an indication to stay away from it! Tracking a package from China is impossible until it reaches your Country. After waiting and waiting you finally get to see just what you have paid high prices for.... #1 not exactly as pictured or described, #2 Sizing is waaaay offf, #3 Material used is sub-standard and (this is the worst part that they don't tell you when you first contact Customer Service), you have to pay to ship it back to China! The problem with that being, it is very expensive to ship to China, will the items ever even get back to a Warehouse? and it's very doubtful you would ever see a full Refund! This Company has NO proven track record as far as sales & customer service go. Had I known in the beginning that I was ordering from China I would not have ordered anything! They know this and they hide the facts! I spent just over $300 on sub-standard, wrong size and different from the pictures, items and to ship everything back was going to cost me $150-$225 for shipping to China. Wayrate is making lots of money by telling Customers to just keep the items and they will give you a token Refund or, better yet a Site Credit!!!!! Don't walk away from Wayrate.......RUN!!!

Wayrates is a pure rip off site. Run away!

  9. They would gladly take the return for the wrong size, if you pay the shipping to China. The problem is it cost more to ship the return, than the cost of the merchandise. I didnt know this was a Chinese company based in China when I ordered or I would not have ordered with that kind of return policy. Do not order from this company.

Do not buy from this sight! The quality is not good and if the cloths do not fit they will NOT exchange.
I bought a $75 large jacket and the jacket was really a medium, I tried to get it replaced and they said the best they could do is to send me a $27 voucher.

    Buyer beware!

these subhuman scum are nothing but thieves. I recieved a vest which looked nothing like what was advertised and stank so badly it had to be kept in a zip lock bag before being thrown out. The shorts also were nothing like what the scum advertised.

I ordered 4 items in December. Two items arrived a month later. The third item was a shirt, allegedly large, but more like a boy's medium size, which arrived a month later. I gave that item to a female friend as by this time I realized this company was a joke and returning the ill-fitting shirt would have been more aggravating. The last item was a pair of tactical pants. The "pants", which arrived today, were a pair of lime green warm-up pants Elvis would have been ashamed to wear. The pants are tacky, not tactical. Do not use this company.

  16. I also had a bad experience. I ordered two items 5 weeks before Xmas and was promised delivery before then as a present. They didn't turn up so I cancelled the order. My refund was £5 short...

  17. I just want to thank you for posting this information and to everyone that posted a comment. I initially thought Wayrates was a scam since I kept getting their pop up adds but I really liked their clothes and offers and could not resist clicking on the adds. I was so close to placing an order but I'm glad I took the time to do a little research first. Thanks again everyone for saving me a lot of headaches!

The products I ordered were legit and I was happy enough with quality. However, two issues occurred - 1) the site froze while making the order and duplicated the whole thing - 2 identical orders and charged for both, and 2) the wrong size was sent for one item (which meant 2 identical wrong items across the two orders. After deciding to keep both orders anyway (imagining a refund hassle and also thinking more work clothes can't be a bad thing), I asked for a return address to exchange the items that were the wrong size, and got a complete runaround. A sequence of 7 sent and 7 returned emails has led me here - each one answered and replied by a different customer service rep (a Chinese company and not a single Chinese name, by the way...I doubt these guys outsource, so I'm thinking fakes), and nothing done at all. Their policy is that you return the item at your expense, and then they refund your order and you reorder the correct item, and again, you pay the freight. On two emails, it was suggested I just forget the whole thing (including the last one) and give the wrong sized ones to a friend, while they give me a voucher for $15! Totally unaccountable. Do not order from these guys unless you're prepared for the possibility of being rorted - the products exist, they will be sent, but buyer beware if something goes wrong...
