What is Tenmokus.com?

It is an online shopping store that is selling tea cups, tea pots, tea sets, coffee cups and so on. However, there are so many things you must know about this site before choosing it as your shopping destination.

We have categorized Tenmokus as one of the suspicious sites because of the following reasons:

Company Address:

The company’s address is provided as Rm 603, Kawada Plaza, 1 On Kui Street, Fanling, Hong Kong. Google Maps can't find out exactly find the given address since only the partial address matched on the Maps. On top of that, lots of companies in Hong Kong are registered using the virtual address by renting address from the virtual address service provider. So it is clear that the company is trying to hide the information, hence we shall not trust such a company for the online shopping.

Copied Content:

Lots of content as well as website theme match with multiple suspicious and problematic problematic sites.

Discount and Sales offers:

It is offering unreasonable discounts and sales offers on the price of lots of products it sells which seems unrealistic. Hence most of the scam sites do so to attract people in their website.

Customer Complaints and Delivery:

The customer support as well as delivery time of sites similar to this are also very poor as per the complaints received from the buyers of similar kinds of sites.

Our Final Verdict:

Due to the aforementioned reasons, we have come up with the conclusion that Tenmokus is one of the suspicious websites.

You can find the lots of suspicious sites listed within our “Suspicious” category by clicking >HERE< or you can find about various kinds of scams by scrolling within our “Scams” category by clicking >HERE< or you can navigate our website through our home page to find out the several interesting and knowledgeable articles under different categories by clicking >HERE<.

These days multiple new online stores are claiming to sell various items on huge discount, but most of them are scams. So, it’s better to stay away from the new online stores or at least do some research before you purchase something from the new online stores because most of these new online stores don’t deliver the purchased items to their clients or, deliver completely different or very low-quality items. Some scam online stores even have charged the credit card of clients randomly without their consent. So, if you have ever purchased mistakenly from scam sites, we suggest you immediately contact your bank or credit card company to secure your credit card information.

Good Luck !

  1. Got one for my wife and one for my mom for Christmas. Arrived surprisingly fast, and exactly as pictured. Boxes were a little cheap but better than I expected.

Maybe they're just mass produced Chinese cups marketed as fancy handmade Japanese cups, but they're still nice, so I wouldn't call them a scam, but we'll see what my wife and mother think...

  2. I ordered two cups. Shipped to me extremely quickly. Packed in a nice, secure, padded box. Lovely product. Will order again. Definitely not a scam.

  3. I ordered two cups, and then saw this review and freaked out a little. The next day, I recieved an email saying the order was shipped. Based on the 8-15 window for shipping to the US, I figured I'd have e awhile to wait, and possibly have a mediocre product.

Within 3 days, what arrived were two beautiful teacups. Well packaged for shipping. Did the boxes scream "high end"? No, but I'm not one who cares about what the product arrives in as long as it protects the product, which they did quite well (very padded).

Anyhow, not a scam at all. Perhaps expensive compared to Amazon seller versions.... but.... Amazon seller versions. Nothing else to say about that.

  4. I found the company to be reliable so far. Their communication with me about shipping and arrival time was very good and the product is stunningly beautiful. The downside is that the coffee cup I ordered was quite small, more espresso-sized than regular mug-sized. This is partly my fault for not reading more carefully the measurements. But I also think they should label it as an espresso coffee mug. I am hoping it won’t be too difficult or costly to return. I bought it to be used, not just to sit on a shelf.

  5. If i could post a pic i would.. this is NOT a suspicious site.
    They have product.
    It arrives.
They have discounts bc their selling price is high compared to others, and yet with higher quality.
Anyways, i bought it. Tea kettle/set isn't worth it.. too small of a kettle to be useful.
Individual cups as gifts/art/personal use? 110%.

  6. This past Christmas I purchased one tea set and one variety assortment. I received my order in good time, in good shape, and it looks like what I ordered.

  7. I had a good experience, too. Beautiful tea set, beautiful and protective box, reasonable delivery time, good communications with company via email updates. Yes, the items are small and pricey, but they are excellent quality, Gifted to me lovely wife, who called it a "home run." She is planning a tea ceremony with her gal pals (complete with happi coats). The set just feels special, which makes it worth the money. I think a sake set will be next.

I've just ordered my third time from this company. The first two orders, a month ago, came surprisingly quickly. Each cup (my orders are only for cups, but I'm not surprised to hear the teaPOTs are small- welcome to the world of ceremony and respect for what you choose to consume) comes in its own padded, latched, fabric-covered box- very nice if you choose to use an item as a gift. I agree with some comments I've seen elsewhere that note the colors' contrast and vibrance is not quite as striking as their photos show - the cups are a bit darker than their photos suggest (especially if you drink your tea in a darker room!) but they are each unique and invite your examination. Re customer service, I just placed my 3rd order at 1:30 AM PST but made a mistake and entered an additional item in my cart, but couldn't find a link to make an order adjustment on my receipt page, so tried their email link- wrote a note w my order# and the correction I needed and found, within minutes, an email reply with my requested change and notice of refund credited back to my card.
If they are NOT legit they sure put on good act! I ordered 2 times (a total of 12 cups) and look forward to receiving and seeing another 2 cups in my current order, I expect in the next week or two.

  9. I ordered four teacups, 2 each of two different designs as a gift. They arrived in an absolutely gorgeous gift box (I had requested packaging as one set) and arrived in less than two weeks.
The cups are absolutely beautiful, move lovely than the website photographs.
I was provided undated shipping information on a regular basis and the package actually arrived three days before anticipated. There have been two follow-up communications to ensure I am satisfied. I could not ask for better selection, better shipping time and definitely could not ask for anything more beautiful. They will be gifted tomorrow and I cannot wait until they are opened.
    Not a scam.

  10. Bought a full tea set for my mom. And it was super secure in packaging. It arrived 10 days after order (from china to the netherlands). The tea pots are small 300 milliliter (which it says on there website too). So no scamm in my opinion

  11. I ordered a cup for my wife that cost $79.99. It was supposed to have arrived on Monday. It still has not arrived. I have contacted customer service and received a tracking number that is invalid. I suspect that this is a scam company and I would urge everyone to avoid them!!!! This is the second goddamn time I’ve been ripped off by these thieves!

    1. I ordered a number of items to the Toronto area and they arrived within a week. I was shocked at the level of packaging and the fancy boxes they are to be kept in. I agree with others..no scam here. Beautiful product

  12. I have your answer: LEGIT
Your commentary made me doubt if Tenmokus was legit as you explained. So I took a couple extra days and place my order. The delivery was done really fast (for something coming from China).
The packing was really well done. I doubt anything will crack inside. There is a lot of texture on one of the cups. The other one is more vitrified. Depends on what you order. They are very unique. I'm 100% satisfied with my purchase. Greetings from Montreal.

  13. I don't know anything about a discount. I bought a teapot for 79.99, which doesn't seem cheap, to me, as well as a coffee cup and saucer for $60. The package was stolen off my porch after FedEx delivered it, and Tenmokus responded by overnighting me a replacement from Hong Kong.
The teapots are unusually small. Just enough for one cup of tea, in my estimation, but they are very pretty, and they are definitely real. Their customer service was very pleasant and responsive. I don't know why you would categorize them as a scam.

  14. Thank you for this review. I was suspicious, if I have to buy on this side and I decided not to do so. Thx.
