What is Poound.com?

It is an online shopping store which is selling various products such as accessories, t-shirts, sweatshirts, Halloween clothings, etc. However, there are so many things you must know about this online store before choosing it as your shopping destination.

Poound is categorized as one of the suspicious sites because of the following reasons:

Company Address:

It has provided the parent company's name and address on its Terms of Service page as EMILYMA LIMITED: Think Tank 5b, Great West Road, Brentford, London, England, TW8 9AG. First of all, Google Maps can't find the exact match of this address and there is no business with the name EMILYMA LIMITED that has been mentioned on or around the partial match as well. On top of that, Google Maps even pinpoints this partial address in the middle of the road. And it has provided this parent company name and address in image format instead of directly writing into the website which mostly done by scam sites when they misuse the other company name so that no one can find their website by searching the given address or parent company name on Google. This parent company's and and address is used by other suspicious sites like SmileCreateGifts, Vincetop, LollYouth, Missbele, Farcure, Getfiner, Gymsissi, FansyCutie, LordMenly, AnnieDresses, Yonaky, Yonleng, Kkidom, Kalicity, Polotumi, Polindays, and so on. It hasn't provided the contact phone number. So we don't recommend this site for any kind of online shopping.

Discount and Sales offers:

It is providing heavy discount offers on the products it sells which seems unrealistic.

Copied content:

We found that the product images used for its product catalog aren’t unique, so it means that this site has either copy-pasted the image from other websites or just reselling clothing or other products. Lots of content including its website theme match with multiple suspicious and problematic sites.

Returns and Exchange:

It has a Return Policy which says that the Buyer is responsible for return shipping cost. It is found to be very unrealistic and bogus for the return and exchange of items. So, it is almost impossible to get back a full refund amount from these kinds of sites due to their confusing provisions.

Customer Complaints and Delivery:

The customer support as well as delivery time of sites similar to this are also very poor as per the complaints received from the buyers of similar kinds of sites.

Our Final Verdict:

All the above mentioned facts are enough to conclude that Poound is one of the suspicious websites.

These days multiple new online stores are claiming to sell various items on huge discount, but most of them are scams. So, it’s better to stay away from the new online stores or at least do some research before you purchase something from the new online stores because most of these new online stores don’t deliver the purchased items to their clients or, deliver completely different or very low-quality items. Some scam online stores even have charged the credit card of clients randomly without their consent. So, if you have ever purchased mistakenly from scam sites, we suggest you immediately contact your bank or credit card company to secure your credit card information.

Good Luck !

  1. I took a chance & ordered from this company. Delivery was in a reasonable time. Prices were great! The quality of the shirts is excellent! I will definitely order again!

  2. I made a purchase of multiple t-shirts. Had to contact the company when order not received 2 1/2 weeks later, but customer service was fast to reply that one of my orders "was being printed". Order arrived , but by this time, it was past the "30 days from purchase" return requirements - t-shirts were NOT "printed", but were rubbery, plastic-like, blurry iron-ons and t-shirts were all from different manufacturers, and of such cheap quality that they will probably not last one washing. The iron-ons make it so that the shirt is no longer flexible and stretchy. Absolute waste of time and money! 🙁

I am a real consumer. I bought from poound.com about a month ago and the prices are great… The customer service was excellent.
I was hesitant due to this types of sites then I messaged them on facebook about my order. They confirmed my order and sent it right away.
I was stress because this site does not have a review and it is not old enough to have a good or bad reputation but hopefully this helps people and get them more customers.

Do not buy from Poound. It is a scam. I placed an order and paid via PayPal. Had not heard anything regarding my order being processed (their website says your order will be processed in 1-7 days) in the 14 days after ordering from them so I emailed the company for a status update. They did not respond so 3 days later (17 days from order and still no order processing, their website says you will receive your order in 8-20 days, website also says you will receive a response from them within 24hrs when you contact them) I sent another email only this time I told them I would be contacting PayPal as I have had no response from them and all they had done was take my money. I finally got a response claiming that some of the items I purchased were out of stock and would I like the in-stock items first. I responded that I wanted a full refund as I would not have ordered the items if I knew they were out of stock. I put my refund request also through PayPal as they had not responded this email. I got a response apologizing and saying I would get a refund with 7-10 business days. That was on Oct. 20, 21 and it is now Oct. 30, 21 and no refund yet. I am contacting PayPal since googling this company and finding out it is not legitimate as I am not trusting they will return my money.
