Who is Miss World 2018? Biography of Vanessa Ponce

Vanessa Ponce de León of Mexico won the crown of Miss World 2018. She is the first Mexican woman to win the Miss World competition. There were 118 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown and Mexican woman took the crown. Manushi Chhillar (Miss World 2017) of India crowned her successor Vanessa Ponce at the end of the event.

The 68th edition of Miss World pageant (Miss World 2018) was held in Sanya, China on 8 December 2018.

Besides Vanessa Ponce, the top 5 contestants were Nicolene Limsnukan of Thailand, Maria Vasilevich of Belarus, Kadijah Robinson of Jamaica, and Quiin Abenakyo of Uganda among which Nicolene Limsnukan of Thailand was the first runner up.

Vanessa Ponce de León was born on March 7, 1992, in the city of Guanajuato. She grew up in Mexico City.

In 2014, Vanessa started her career as a contestant on season 5 of Mexico's Next Top Model and she became a winner.

Vanessa was crowned as Miss World Mexico 2018 on 5 May and now you know she is a Miss World 2018.
