Emma Watson or Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born on April 15, 1990, in Paris, France to father Chris Watson and mother Jacqueline Luesby, both of them are British lawyers. She was brought up in South East region Oxfordshire, a county in England.
In 1995, when Emma Watson was only 5 years old, her parents divorced. Following the separation, she, along with her brother Alex, moved to Oxfordshire to live with her mother. Raised there, she attended the Dragon School and received training in acting, dancing, and singing at the Stagecoach Theatre Arts School, a branch of Oxford.
