Frequently Asked Questions:-

After checking the site and finding out that’s a scam, you might have questions like:

  • Where can we encounter with scam sites?
  • How can we get refund from it?
  • How can we stay safe from similar kinds of sites?
  • Where can we encounter with potential scam sites in the future?

Well, you can find the brief answers to these queries below. For detailed answers, you can check "How To Get A Refund" article on our website De-Reviews.com.

How to get refund from scam sites?

It's difficult to get a refund from scam sites. But, here are some ways you can try to get your money back.

Firstly, avoid doing further transactions with them. We advise you to talk to the seller and tell them calmly about your problem. Also, keep records of everything related to your order, like tracking number, postal details, chats, pictures, emails, and many more.

In the case if you don't receive what you purchased even after contacting the seller, then you should contact your bank or credit card company and ask them to help you with a refund. However, if you have used PayPal, then you should open a dispute via your PayPal account and contact them.

In the case, if you have purchased physical item and received the wrong one, then you should contact the postal service for tracking info. You should get the detail like the weight of item that you got, which might be less or different than what you ordered. Show this proof to your bank, credit card company, or PayPal to ask for a refund.

Likewise, check your bank accounts or credit card statements to stop any charges you didn't make. If you see any suspicious charges, cancel your credit card.

If nothing works, and you end up losing lots of money, then you should contact the legal expert or a group that helps people on such situation.

You should also report doubtful sites to concerned authorities like Better Business Bureau, FBI, FTC, or similar authorities in your country.

But remember, these steps may not work for all because it depends on where you live, which method you used for the payment, and the rules of your chosen payment method.

About additional scam sites where getting a refund may be more challenging:-

For scam sites like investment scams, Ponzi schemes, subscription scams, gambling scams, job scams, online work scams, cryptocurrency scams, or credit card fraud, recovering your money can be challenging but not impossible.

Start by contacting your bank or credit card company immediately to report the fraudulent transaction and request a chargeback. If you used a wire transfer or cryptocurrency, reach out to the service provider to see if they can assist in tracing the funds.

In cases of unauthorized subscriptions or recurring charges, cancel the subscription immediately and dispute the charges with your payment provider.

For larger scams like investment or Ponzi schemes, gather all evidence, including receipts, emails, and transaction records, and report the fraud to law enforcement or financial regulatory authorities in your country. Consulting a lawyer or organizations specializing in scam recovery can also be helpful, especially if the amount lost is significant.

How to identify and save yourself from problematic websites?

You can identify and save yourself from problematic websites using these methods:

  1. Do your research on the site or app before you use them.
  2. Search for the real customer reviews and read both positive and negative reviews.
  3. Check if any site is scam or genuine on sites like De-Reviews.com.
  4. Ensure the website uses HTTPS and offers secure payment methods like credit cards or PayPal, which offer fraud protection.
  5. Check for contact information and physical addresses. Legitimate businesses provide clear ways to reach customer support and may list their office location.
  6. Be cautious of unrealistic deals or offers. If something seems too good to be true, it probably is.
  7. Examine website design and content. Poorly designed websites with many spelling errors may indicate a scam.
  8. Scammers often create domain names that closely resemble legitimate ones to deceive users into visiting fraudulent sites. Always verify that the domain name matches the official brand or website name.
  9. Avoid shopping on the sites or apps if you have doubts on them.

Bought a set of 3 prints that arrived with ripples in the paper. I wrote and asked for a refund but was told (by yes, Dave) to ship them back to the UK (I'm in Canada) at my own expense and they would refund once the merchandise received.

I found out using the From shipping label that it actually shipped from a Canadian company in Barrie Ontario. I called this company and they sell to a supplier who then sells through ClockCanvas.

Our friend Dave insists it's not them and keeps giving deadlines on either accepting a replacement or to return at my fee.

After reading other comments on here I now know for sure it's a scam. They will not refund me if I send them back and if I ask for replacements, they again will arrive damaged.

    Whoever is willing to fight them with me, please contact me at p a u l@ q u a d r i o m. C o m

  3. Hi there - sharing my experience: A part of the triplet-canvas that I ordered was of a poor quality (price paid - over $150) which led to a request to replace the part of my order. A replacement arrived, but was of a poorer quality which obviously led to another replacement request. After almost 2.5 month of radio silence when I followed up, Dave from Clockcanvas replied that actually my order has been cancelled due to issues with delivery and respective amount is reimbursed. When I checked my accounts it turned that no money was received from Clockcanvas. To my respective e-mails asking for reimbursement, Dave just replied that reimbursement has been already made and sent some screenshot where not even the right amount was shown. Months have passed - despite several requests, still no reimbursement.

I ordered a 3pc canvas and never got a confirmation # after several e mail requests no customer service . Trying to cancel through my bank.I'm so angry. Feel like I have been scammed.

  5. I returned the order to the address they provided in Canada. After one month of delivering the print, they still were saying that they could not check the wareshouse if they had received it. After many emails complaining, finaly I put a complaint through Paypal, as I paid them using this platform, and then the next day they returned me the full amount. If I didn't bought it through Paypal, I am sure that I would never get my money back.

  6. Definitely scam ... i ordered since November and i don't receive my order,, poor customers servise .. you cant get your money back ..

If you want to get your money back, then should contact your bank or credit card company and ask them to help you with a refund. If you had paid via PayPal, open a dispute via your PayPal account. Show them this review as a reference.

Definately a scam! I received the clock yesterday and the clock is really bad! There are stains and finishing are bad, even the pointer was twisted and no way i could use the clock! Its so annoying! The clock was sent from China, not Canada! The clock is totally way over-priced! Im so upset and I feel so cheated!!!

  8. I made a purchase for a large clock, sadly poor workmanship for the price I paid. A very shoddy job, they claim they are in Canada, but the items are arriving from Far East Asia.
I would never buy again from this, and would advise against it.

  9. I ordered a print canvas and I just received it. It’s really nice and exactly as it’s shown in the website. I could also track my order to know when it will arrive. Perfect!
