Be aware, they don't reply to emails! I lost 80 dollars.
I purchased from West Hikers in 2020 and received products all was good. I purchased in February 2022 $169+ and still have not received anything and there are no replies to my weekly email requests. SCAM!!!

Wish I would’ve seen these comments before I ordered two of these! It’s been over two weeks and when I checked the shipping tracking is says it’s was delivered in 2018! Also the same day I ordered these my credit card had fraudulent Uber charges in California amounting to almost $400!
Scam. My mattress hasn't arrived for 5 months 🙁
My first experience was positive. Received the items timely and they are fine quality. But I ordered again as a Christmas gift for a friend and I have never received the items and they never responded to any emails I sent trying to find my items. My $169 payment is lost I suppose. Being scammed sucks!
I have not received my order and they have not replied to my many emails. Very disappointed with this company.

Same ordered mattresses and never received, don't reply to emails
Avoid this conany, it s a scam.
Bad experience with this company. Never received my order (outdoor mattress) for which I had paid. I claimed this with them, they replied that they were going to ship my order once more. But it never arrived either. The tracking was closed as delivered again, although nothing was delivered to me, nobody even contacted me. When I tried to communicate with them again and claim the service demanding the money back, they kept silent. No product, no communication, no money. No more!
Oh gosh, I just bought from them as a friend sent me a link to buy something. Its only after the fact that I have come across these reviews, arghhhhh!! I guess I've done my money then.
So disappointing as I've been on a budget.
I will let you know if anything ever arrives. But then, will I be wanting to rely on it out in the Australian bush....?!

I agree with everything everyone has said above... I wish I would have found this site before ordering from them. West Hikers say they are a US based company including on their Instagram profile, but they ship their products from China which they do not tell you until after you have ordered. So, even though they offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee, you have to pay to ship it back to China. However, the mailing label on my package (had I just refused it and returned to the post office) shows a return address for a "return warehouse" in Jamaica, NY. When I emailed their representative (who's email signature indicates they are in California) and said why can't I return it to this NY address on their friggin label, they just said I had to ship to China. I called me credit card company to dispute the charges since this company misrepresented itself. I don't mind paying a return shipping fee but not to China. Ridiculous! I should have researched much harder before purchasing from them but I was trying to support a new company like Wendy above and now will never trust a company advertised on FB again. I will report them to FB as well. And, I noticed as well as Rain, that they delete comments on FB and also edit out any negative ones. BAD COMPANY!
BEWARE!!! This company is a scam. I ordered the West Double and they sent a product but it was not even close to the product I ordered. They then said that to return I would have to pay shipping to China and maybe I would receive refund. I understand that is their policy. However, they clearly sent me the incorrect product and wouldn't work with me at all. I reported this to my credit card company as I have tried to get in contact and they quit responding.DO NOT PURCHASE!

When you read through the “reviews” it’s as if the same person wrote them all. Reading the one from someone from “Alaska” who travelled to many “small villages”... really? Who in Alaska refers to their littlest towns as villages? I’ve been fried by bogus Chinese online companies in the past. PayPal certainly won’t have your back because the weasel their way around them as well. Santine was one for example. Look at the their web design also, it’s out of a can; as are their stock photos. It’s all done in a lab! Buy from your local businesses. Buy from your own community. All the best!
WESTHIKER IS A TOTAL SCAM COMPANY - the item was poor quality and way over-priced. The return cost $30 to ship it back to China. They never refunded me and now have stopped replying to emails. DO NOT SHOP WITH THEM. I agree with all of the above
I did a google search for a camping pad for my son, and West Hikers came up first. I bought because it said it was US based company and I was trying to support a company outside of Amazon because I usually buy from Amazon. I usually do a search on any company I have not heard of, but did not. I am beyond pissed. It has been three weeks so I just checked on it and it shipped from China -- and will not arrive until after he needs it. But to return it I have to ship it back to China. I am going to go to the post office and see I can refuse delivery, because this is completely false advertising. I am really annoyed at myself because I normally do a very complete search and did not.
All emails (and I sent lots) went unanswered. They shipped to the wrong address and completely ignored me.
I ordered their air mattress and pump
Saw the ad on facebook. It looked too good to be just what I needed. Became suspicious when they asked me to eat extra charge for insurance if it gets lost. I still purchased it plus the air pump they suggested. I received a text saying the shipping changed and yo kn d me to go to a link. I did not do this. They keep sending me emails asking why I am not responding to their thank you gifts.
