Just got the same message. Scam.

  5. I got a message just like Nathan Pinnock and others who got a message from GroupMe Support! Why can one not report this or any other behavior (such as bullying and/or harassment) on the GroupMe app? They need to fix this!!!!

I sent a reply to GroupMe about the spam, and blocked the person who sent the message. There should be legal action against anyone doing this kind of behavior online.
