What is Owntin .com?

It is an online shopping store that is selling clothing and fashion products such as maxi dresses, coats, pants, sets, men's outerwear, etc. However, there are so many things you must know about it before choosing it as your shopping destination.

We have classified Owntin as one of the suspicious sites as per the following facts on its website:

Company Address:

The company’s address of this online store is mentioned as 618 NE 8th street, Hallandale Beach, Florida, 33009, US. There is no business with the name Owntin that has been mentioned on or around this address on Google Maps. Instead, other businesses are mentioned over there. So, it is clear that this site is trying to hide the information, we shall not trust such a company for any kind of online shopping.

Its email address i.e. owntin@outlook .com is a free email address but not its domain specific one.

Security of the website:

It has provided the fake trust seal logo of McAfee on its Checkout page. So if you shop at this site, your personal and financial information such as your credit card information might be stolen.

Copied content:

We found that the product images used for its product catalog aren’t unique, so it means that this site has either copy-pasted the image from other websites or just reselling clothing or other products. Lots of details provided on its website, including its website theme match with multiple problematic sites.

Returns and Exchange:

It has a Refund and Return Policy which is found to be very unrealistic for the return and exchange of items. It has stated that the buyer will be responsible for the return shipping fee. So, it is almost impossible to get the full payment back from these kinds of websites due to their confusing provisions.

Customer Complaints and Delivery:

The customer support as well as delivery time of sites similar to this site is also very poor as per the complaints received from the buyers of similar kinds of sites.

Our Final Verdict:

On the basis of aforementioned facts, we can draw the conclusion that Owntin is one of the suspicious websites.

These days multiple new online stores are claiming to sell various items on huge discount, but most of them are scams. So, it’s better to stay away from the new online stores or at least do some research before you purchase something from the new online stores because most of these new online stores don’t deliver the purchased items to their clients or, deliver completely different or very low-quality items. Some scam online stores even have charged the credit card of clients randomly without their consent. So, if you have ever purchased mistakenly from scam sites, we suggest you immediately contact your bank or credit card company to secure your credit card information.

Good Luck!

Husband ordered a plastic house for an outside generator. after many weeks of their hassle and lies, he received pair of black, tiny footies. We have corresponded eith them to no avail. They use every ruse in the books to avoid returning your money. The worst insult to a Chinese is to call them scumbags. Owntin may fit that description.

I ordered a beehive kit several months ago. I received an oven mitt from China that I never ordered. I complained to the email address provided. I asked to either be shipped the beehive as advertised or refund my credit card company. They offered to reship my package (they never mention the item you have purchased). Unfortunately this was lost in the mail (Yeah right). I have asked for the beehive or my credit card company to be reimbursed. They have offered me 60% on a refund. I told them again to send me a total refund and that they were listed on many scam sites and a disgrace to all small buinesses world wide. We will see what is next.

PlayStation 5 with two games and one controller for $93 including shipping, scam or not? Well for you that are still thinking about it you were either born yesterday or you really want that product so bad you have duped yourself.
My son (15) asked if he could purchase a PlayStation 5 with his own money but needed a credit card to purchase and would pay me back.
Being his father and knowing how much money he has in a savings account I said sure.
After he purchased the item and said he owed me $93 and that includes shipping. I laughed and called my credit card company ASAP , lol
So I said to him, do you remember mommy and daddy tell you about if something is that affordable and normally cost five times that amount in a retail store, what’s the saying for this type of situation..,
(Son) “if it’s to good to be true then it probably is”.
    Life lesson #786

As an adult and looking over the website, then calling several different numbers listed for the business, all were no longer in service.
My son did research on google and Google says it’s safe but I’m here to tell you that it’s not.,, this is a scam.

I ordered a shearing table for our show lambs and received a pair of socks! I called the number on the website and it's disconnected, the address listed is for an alterations shop in Florida, who I called several times and left messages with no call back. The package I received was relabeled in California and that address belongs to some kind of market where no one speaks very good English.
I requested a refund and was only going to receive about 60% of the total price due to all sorts of B.S. fees. I called every government entity I could call to file a fraud claim!

I ordered a utility cart, never received it. But like the comments before mine, I too received socks! Never heard from them. Until I disputed the purchase with my bank. Then they asked for me to reverse my dispute! I sent a scathing response, starting with "NO"! Then today, they sent me a tracing ID number. It was from CHINA! How is it that a cart, made in the USA is being sent from China! Oozing scam! Their address is from Hallenburg FL! Their phone number, the first few times I called went to a full mailbox. A text mailbox(?) but leave a voicemail! I never heard of this! So today I received a tracking email for my product. And asking me to contact the USPS, or check with neighbors and family! It's a 102 lb box! They are scammers. I called the number this morning and it's now disconnected! Stay away from this company!
