  • "Jamie tried to deliver your parcel contents today, but nobody was in. Please schedule a new date via: https ://local-depot41 .com" or "https ://local-depot27 .com" or "https ://local-depot25 .com"
  • "Jamie tried to deliver your parcel today, but nobody was in. Please schedule a new date via: https ://local-depot27 .com" or "https ://local-depot25 .com"
  • "Your Post Office order could not be delivered at 15:43 on 14/03 as no one answered the door. Rebook at: https ://mydepot-reschedule-help .com"
  • "Kieran tried to deliver your parcel today but no/one was at home ctc"
  • "Your parcel is waiting for delivery, please confirm the settlement of £1.45 on the following link local-depot-gb .com"
  • "Your Post Office order could not be delivered at 13:35 on 12/03 as no one answered the door. Rebook at: https ://mydepot-reschedule-form .com
  • "Kieran tried to deliver your shipment today, but no one was home. To re-organise a new date for this, please visit: https ://local-depot-gb .com"
  • "Post Office: Your package has been sent to a local post office due to an unpaid shipping fee. To schedule a delivery visit: https ://po-redeliverpackage .com"

What is the motive behind these fraudulent text messages?

These fraud messages are not from any genuine companies, but are from scammers to get your personal information so that they can scam you. They may ask you to click some link and submit the personal details on the fake website posing the real ones or call them or message/reply to them where they will trick you to submit your personal details. So, you should not follow any instructions provided in these kinds of messages or click any link or download anything (if provided any). The links or files provided in these messages may also contain some viruses or malware or spyware that can hack your device as well.

    Just received similar msg from James 07857 224275. Stupidly clicked on link as expecting parcel - didn’t give any info.

  4. Yesterday (18 Mar) received from “James +44 7926 976492.
    “James attempt to deliver your shipment today failed. To re-organise a new date for this, please visit: https: //local-depot-gb.co .uk”

  5. I received one of these messages today but the sender was James. No money was requested.
    Do they have a direct link to the Royal mail system? How else would they know who was expecting a parcel?

  8. Just had one saying the following: "++++++ [which is a name I use online & not my real postal name] attempted to deliver your shipment today failed. To re-organise a new date for this, please visit: https: //local-depot-gb.co .uk" From telephone number +4475117814759
    Unfortunately for them I have three motion activated cameras that let me know if anyone has been near the house & alerts me so I know no-one has been near the place. Good extra layer of defence against scammers.
