What is GentleHerd.Shop?

It is an online shopping store that is selling various fashion and clothing products of kids, women and men. On top of that, there are so many things you must know about this shop before choosing it as your shopping destination.

Gentle Herd Shop / GentleHerd is definitely not a genuine site and we are saying this on the basis of following grounds:

Company Address:

It has provided two different addresses: one from Hong Kong and another from USA on its Contact Us page.

First one is of Hong Kong: 1405d, Lucky Centre, 165-171 Wanchai Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong and another one is of USA: 5350 Broadway, Denver, CO 80216, USA. But, there is no any company with the name GentleHerd Shop mention on or around the both addresses on Google Maps.

On top of that, on its Terms page, it has mentioned its Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the UK. Why any company from Hong Kong or USA will be governed by the laws of UK? This must be a copy-paste error. So, either it has copy-pasted its Terms of Service page or its company address.

The contact phone number is also missing on its website. So it’s clear that it is trying to hide its information which makes it yet another suspicious website.

Discount and Sales offers:

It is providing an unrealistic discounts on few products that is too good to be true.

Copied content:

 Lots images of the products are cropped or hidden in order to escape from copyright issues. Furthermore, lots of content as well as its website theme match with multiple other suspicious and problematic sites.

The reason behind we have mentioned here two names GentleHerd Shop and GentleHerd is because there are exactly same two websites with all the contents similar to each other including its website name but the only difference is their domain name which is. GentleHerd.Shop and GentleHerd.com.

Returns and Exchange:

It has an Exchange and Return Policy that looks bogus for the return and exchange of items purchased.  So, it is evident that these kinds of sites are not willing to fully or partially refund back the amount.

Customer Complaints and Delivery:

The customer support as well as delivery time of sites similar to this site is also very poor as per the complaints received from the buyers of similar kinds of sites.

Our Final Verdict:

From all the above mentioned facts, it is clear that GentleHerd Shop is one of the suspicious websites.

Some scam online stores even have charged the credit card of clients randomly without their consent. So, if you have ever purchased mistakenly from scam sites, we suggest you immediately contact your bank or credit card company to secure your credit card information.

    I have just received my order after 3 weeks of no tracking information.Items arrived no 100 % cashmere as stated mixture of 70 wool 30 cashmere but a price point that suggests otherwise.Horrible company horrible quality.Stay away .Buy from guilt or ru La La ,great quality and when on sale worth it.
    I would never shop here again.

    This place is a scam. I think they're operating from China. Don't trust your payment through their site. And I tried to dispute over cc company because I tried to return. The product was like a 3XL and I ordered a small. Just don't deal with them, take your money elsewhere

    I ordered a vest and an e mail stated it was delivered. It was not. Chatting .with an automatic voice was impossible. Was given a tracking # which doesn't work. Buyer Beware!!!! Don't attempt to buy from this company. I wouldn't even have tried t0 get a refund. I hope they're shut down Soon

    I’m leaving this review everywhere because it’s so frustrating that this company is in business. Gentle Herd is a total scam. It’s a direct from China company and the customer service is atrocious. Their site says an order can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement, I cancelled within 1 hour and they replied the following day saying the order couldn’t be cancelled at it had already shipped. They said they would refund my shipping if I send it back along with a photo of my return shipping receipt. I send the photo of the receipt and they issue me a partial refund of my initial purchase. They do refund their shipping costs to me nor my return shipping costs as they said they would. When I point this out, they say they have to refund my shipping costs via PayPal and to send them my info. I request payment from them via PayPal and they reply saying they will not refund any shipping costs as they’ve recently changed their company policy regarding information refunds and soon their website will reflect this! They are thieves! Absolutely fraudulent. Stay away

    I will never to business with Gentleherd again. The items are not as good quality as you would imagine. HOWEVER I NEVER RECEIVED HALF MY ORDER. The items were in stock when I ordered and I initially received 2/6 items and the quality was just okay, not as nice as you'd think. . . and after waiting two months they sent me 1 of the 4 backordered items but it was the wrong item! I emailed them and they didn't acknowledge their mistake and are trying to get ME to pay to return the items to them without any information about the remaining items or cancelling my order. Gentleherd operates with no integrity. AVOID!!!

    I ordered a sweater which arrived okay, though the quality did not seem like true cashmere - it was a bit scratchy. I returned the sweater because it fit a little small. Unfortunately, someone else took the package to the post office, and I never got the tracking number receipt. I didn't think about that at first, since I had NEVER sent a USPS package to a US address that did not arrive. After a few weeks I contacted Gentle Herd, who emailed that they never received it and asked me for the tracking number. I went back to the address where I sent the package (Perth Amboy, NJ) and found a reference number, which I looked up online. It was a company with a different name, NAP, which seemed very odd. I found their phone # and called them. The person I talked to did not seem to know anything about Gentle Herd. She said she would ask her manager about this, but I have never heard back from them either. I also tried contacting USPS to see if they could look up the number, but there was no way to get through to a human without already having a tracking number. I don't believe the package never arrived, as the US mail is very reliable, so I believe I have been scammed.

    I am trying to the status of my return and my email was blocked. How do I get my money back - what is my recourse - I will report to the Better Business Bureau.

    Ordered a camel wrap coat...show up stuffed in a plastic bag in my mailbox. Their "tracking" Never showed. The coat had a center back seam coming apart and the belt loops were placed in the bust area on both sides. Tried 2x's to send an email message to [help@gentleherd.com] and email ERRORED and returned x's 2. Bogus, fraud Co., Always Read Reviews before ordering!! My credit card co will take care of this bogus purchase.

    I order a set $250 which was a huge purchase for me. Sizing was off so I returned it. Got confirmation of the return Sept.22,2020. Have never received a refund. Also they said they would return postage and credit it back to PayPal and that never happened either.

    Ordered something on Etsy and it had a gentle herd tag. Looking to reorder the company on Etsy closed. So I ordered from gentle herd. It’s been a month and I just got one piece. Don’t know when the second will arrive. I do have an order number and paid w PayPal. This saves me. The clothes are beautiful.

    In Canada, say they are shipping, but hasn't left China! Surprise wouldn't have purchased if that was clear, then an email deposit was made! surprise! should have done my homework first! Month out and nothing. Called the fraud dept in Canada and filed a complaint.

    There customer service keeps sending me a Tracking number that does not work
    The sweater was supposedly coming from China

    I paid for my order by PayPal which zi always trust. I received a response email saying my item was out of stock but should be shipped in 7-10 days. Now I’m worried I was scammed. Time will tell , I guess at that point I’ll take more action

    Gentle Herd - I have a pair of pants i want to return. I have sent emails and contacted customer service with no response! I have sent my order number , email , my phone number and get nothing. I’ll never order from them again. Make sure what you get fits because you won’t be returning it!

    GentleHerd is a Scam ! I was shipped a damaged sweater in a package with a slash through it and it came in a fed ex package that was undamaged.. surprisingly I was also charged for shipping , even though it was a free shipping because of what I purchased. I was also not refunded for a product that was not in stock. They do not have a professional customer service phone number. The communication is very prompt but confusing and nonsensical. For all the customers who have given this a negative review they are correct.. I now have my Credit card company disputing the charge for a product that was not delivered. They have a way of scamming by sending you documents showing refunds to bank account that never is actually sent! I did keep what I ordered because after reading the reviews I realized that I may never get my money back, if I returned to another unknown address as some of the reviews mentioned.. Also my credit card can only dispute one charge , not the two I had ...so that is why I keep the product. This is Not a Luxury Brand ! It is just shoved into a fed ex package, with no packing slip. Also no identification of what you bought is enclosed in the package .. The quality is just fine. Nothing special. Chinese made. Not from Inner Mongolia as they brag in there web site . Not a American Company. Please do not do business with this company they are running a sophisticated bate and switch scam ! Take your chances.. as some have and maybe you will be happy.. Or disappointed like myself and others. Thank you!

    Wow reading those comments and I’m ashamed to say I received my order quickly and they are gorgeous soft and well made. I have had no problems with this company and sizing is true to size. I love what I received.

    Beware of Gentle Herd. I ordered a sweater and it never arrived. They're telling me it was delivered and signed for - a lie. They told me to contact the delivery service but they don't give me its name. I'm just glad I only ordered a sweater and not one of their more expensive items.

    I just saw them appear on my FB page. The items looked nice. I watched their video, which showed how humane they were to the goats . And weaving the cashmere. Then I went through the merchandise and I found it odd that there was way too much of it and they did puffer down coats that had nothing to do with cashmere. It did not make sense. I also was a women’s retail clothing buyer, and there were just too many Sku’s . It’s impossible for a company to own these many styles. So I decided to Google them and find out about them. I’m glad I found this site. FB should investigate these companies b4 allowing them to advertise.

    The company took 250 dollars from me and said the items where unavailable. They did not refund me. It targeted me on Instagram. I feel like such a dope!

    Awful customer service. I received a gift and simply wanted to exchange the size and since I didn’t have an account number or order number the exchange was refused. There was no gift receipt included and I explained numerous times that I was not the original purchaser. Very frustrating

    The satellite image of the address in Colorado is suspicious. It’s basically on a empty field with some shipping crates. Also across a residential area. Scammers are now providing tracking numbers to items never delivered. “Sophisticated” crooks. I try not to buy anything without homework.

    I have received a gift of these clothes from my daughter and they are beautiful -- are you sure that maybe this is not just a very new business trying to get on their feet? that's what it appears to me.

    Gentle Herd is a fraud. Top to bottom. First, I ordered a cashmere cardigan. I own several luxurious cashmere items, and what I received was a child-size scratchy rounded neck sweater that is not made of cashmere. The sleeves did not go past my elbows. It smells bad too. I wear a size 6, and ordered a size large, but they sent a size small that fits like a belly shirt or maybe my granddaughter would fit in it, except it's itchy as heck and not an ounce of cashmere within this item!!! Also it took 5 weeks to arrive straight from China! I immediately contacted them to return, not exchange and was told to ship it to their warehouse, to Ruike Zheng, 7339 Greenhaven Ave., Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730-6396. I paid about $20 to ship it back, with signature confirmation, and it was REFUSED. I again emailed the company and they said sorry, their warehouse was closed for the Chinese new year. That was January 30. They are still closed. Then I was told that they are not shipping out any new items for a 7 day period, so sorry. I never asked for anything to be shipped back to me. I was told to incur shipping charges once again and ship it back, but I thought I should investigate. First, look at TrustPilot reviews. They all say the same thing. People shipped the box back, and it was refused. Second, look on Google Earth and you will see the address they provided was a personal residence in a gated community, NOT a warehouse. I told them this was BS, they said don't be mad. They open soon. ??? So I contacted the Rancho Cucamonga Police, the San Bernardino County Sheriff, their local HOA because they are operating a felonious business from their gated community which is a violation of HOA laws as well as a federal law violation, I filed a mail fraud complaint with the USPS, I filed a fraud complaint with FedEx, and I filed a complaint with the California Attorney General. And I will continue until I get my money back from these scammers. BOTTOM LINE: EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM IS A SCAM SO RUN FROM THEM, THEIR PRODUCTS ARE BAD, THEY ARE BAD! Please warn American citizens against these scammers! I guarantee this, they are stealing credit card information. That is all that business is for. To steal identities.

      Good for you, Sherry! I just ordered a sweater that never came although they told me it was delivered! I think they're a scam and a fraud. I'm only glad that I didn't order one of their more expensive items and I'm losing less than $100. I've disputed their charge with both PayPal and Visa.
