Fuze Bug, located at FuzeBugDirect and Offer.GetFuzeBug, has the following drawbacks which make it very suspicious:-

# Its website has lots of similarities with a bunch of problematic sites like MultiVoltz, Get-Novitec, BuyRangeXTD, HOCWatch, Cardieo, TurboTuuli, BuyBlaux, Blaux, BuyOshenWatch, GetTVBuddy, FeverPatrol, etc. These sites have lots of complaints from their users. 1. Mine does not work. I tried following the instruction that comes with the lamp and I couldn't pull up the mosquito net from the activities cover. I wasted my money by buying 3.
    Big SCAM!!!!!

  2. Mine does not work. I tried following the instruction that comes with the lamp and I couldn't pull up the mosquito net from the activities cover. I wasted my money by buying 3.
    Big SCAM!!!!!

  3. It's all hyped about young guy invented and better than the rest of the zappers out there....all BS. I ordered 2, they only shipped one. Took several weeks to get the first one. No shipping info so I reached out to them via website. Got reply back in a day, all kinds of BS apology and excuses to why I did not get ship tracking. Then I got one, bogus tracking #, I email back to them. Another apology and got the correct tracking #. Took a week to get it, then when it arrived only one, email them again and gave me such run around then nothing from them. I disputed with Paypal and I got an email to verify my address so they can ship me one ASAP. Another BS, then another email stating 2nd one was shipped with tracking #. Another week to get it.

It's just a solar charging flash light, nothing else. If they claim how good their product is why isn't there a FuzeBug logo or any info on the product, nothing at all, so it's something this company got CHEAP from China that they try to make money off. Totally BS, don't waste your money and time.

  4. I bought 2 of these and took about 2 weeks to get them. Great night lights and does attract bugs but doesn’t zap them. I didn’t pay this much for pretty little lights! Don’t waste your money. Watched them go all around the grid and fly out without getting zapped! Then couldn’t take the lights inside because bugs would get in the house! Had to blow the bugs out first. Waste of money.

  5. Cheap junk. Do not waste your time & money, Fuzebug makes you pay the return shipping (even if product has yet to work)!

  6. The mosquitos in New York were not briefed about how efficient and great this lamp is, they just don't die... And they bite!
This is the company that debited my paypal, it is in Hong Kong, China: marginholdingslimitedonline.com

  7. Every single Google result for pages deep for my inquires "Fuzebug Review" and "Fuzebug Scam" were "company authored" sales pitches all saying exactly what is on the website and offering multiple unit "discounts." All were from ostensibly "legit" sounding small town newspapers, including one that I am familiar with in real life: Detroit's "Metro Times." I've NEVER seen any "review" like this (or ANY product review) in the Metro Times in several DECADES of reading it! Their SEO algorithms somehow "capture" these small newspapers. Thank you VERY much for alerting me to this potential identify theft front! I found you by "going deep" in my Google search.

  8. As I said in my earlier review, there were about 50 bugs in each unit after being turned on overnight, dusk to dawn. It had a mix of bugs: an ant, small moths, and mosquitoes, and a single crane fly. Crane flies look like large mosquitoes, and are a garden pest. Crane Flies primarily damage lawns.
After washing out the bugs with the garden hose, I see that water did get into the lower part of the units. I can see condensation on the lower plate under the coil area. Only time will tell if there is any damage to the flashlight portion or any electronic damage due to corrosion.

    1. Upon trying to charge after drying the units out, the unit with the visible condensation turns the flashlight on.
I turn it off and it turns back on after a minute or two. Water got into the light area, the end opposite of the switches and charge socket. These things are definitely NOT WATERPROOF.
I flipped it upside down with the flashlight aiming up and it is charging without the light turning itself on.
Lesson: be careful when washing the bugs out with the garden hose.

  9. I ordered 3 of these and the charger. It took 4-6 hours to get a full charge - charging all 3 units at once. I set 2 units outside on my deck at dusk, and 1 inside the house.
Contrary to the Westword blog website, battery life is about 13 hours, not 20. The inside unit lasted about 13 hours.
By 6 am, the 2 outside units were loaded with bugs, primarily mosquitoes - about 50 bugs per unit. They worked as advertised.
I can't comment on the solar charging aspect since I used the charger..
Contrary to the FuzeBug website where I ordered, they were shipped US Mail, not UPS.
I saw the postman delivery them to my mailbox. The mailing label is USPS from OIA Global in Union, NJ.
They were delivered 6 days after I ordered them. I did get ordering confirmation, but not shipping confirmation.
I had ordered a different unit a year ago, and it didn't catch anything.

  10. While the youtube ad set off my detector, as it tends to follow the same format as other clickbait "miracle" products, I still decided to look it up out of curiosity, since the caveman part of my brain paranoid about bugs, now that it's summer.
Apparently, this company seems to have been able set up fake news sites or paid off existing unscrupulous ones since all the articles on the ENTIRE first page of my google results read like an advertisement, listing near exclusively the products good points and features, while hardly or never touching about its cons, not remotely sounding like a legit "review".
The length this company will go to perpetuate fraud scares me.

  11. Thank you! I appreciate being able to check your site before I commit to buying something that caught my interest!

  12. The first scam is "mosquito attracting light". Mosquitos aren't attracted to light, as a matter of fact they prefer dark and dank conditions, close to standing water where they drink and reproduce. They will respond to movement and scent, O2, etc. Just like ticks and fleas, anything bloodsucking will be a creature of darkness. Avoid this SCAM.

    1. actually they are attracted to the black light (UV) used in conventional bug zappers, this junk product likely uses uv LEDs

  13. Thank you for this article and a REAL review of the product. Everything else I could find seemed to be cloaked advertisement for the product. I'm definitely learning to become a smarter on-line consumer!

  14. this is a scam. I stupidly ordered it. Didn't receive an email with my order. Then 2 wks later I received a cooling fan that you put water into. WT... No invoice only a small packing slip. No phone or even the price I paid for it.

  15. Thank you for your report, I almost bought into it, I will stick with my regular zapper I found on Amazon, at least if it's not good I can return it without trouble or being at risk of being scammed and my ID stolen!!

  16. UV light does not attract mosquitoes. They are attracted to people by sensing carbon dioxide and heat. Better to buy a Mosquito Magnet trap or possibly a Sharper Image trap. I have not tried either product but I understand the science behind them and I believe they are better at killing mosquitos. UV bug lights do attract other nighttime flying insects like moths.

  17. This is a scam... my debit card was charged and they said they shipped the order a month ago - the UPS tracking number they gave is not a valid number - the phone number for customer service 24/7 says to leave a message because no one is available - will try to get my money back.

  18. You guys should win some kind of online award for informing us about these descipcable scammers! I will share this site with friends and hell, maybe even some foes!
    Thank you
