Either is an Em General fraud or genuine?

These days there are lots of scam online stores. So, it’s better to do some research before you purchase anything from new online stores. Most of the new online stores don’t deliver the purchased items to their clients or, deliver completely different or very low-quality items. So, if you want to find out either is an EmGeneral fraud or not, either it is delivering purchased items to its clients on time or not, you can check our analysis and comment sections below. If you can’t find any comment below but you have some experience dealing with the EmGeneral online store, then you can place your own comment below and share with us your experience with EmGeneral.

Our Analysis on EmGeneral: Below are some tips that will help you to identify either is an EmGeneral fake or real:-

# You can check either any online store is secured properly or not. You should know that legit online stores never compromise on their security whereas scam ones don’t care about their website security and even try to trick people by showing the fake trust seal logos of McAfee, Norton and so on. In order to identify the provided trust seal logos are real or not, you can click on them which should send you to the official verification webpage of respective trust seal providers. If the provided trust seals are not clickable or if they don’t send you to the official verification webpages of respective trust seal providers when you click on them, then you should know those are fake trust seals. You should avoid all online stores with fake trust seal logos. EmGeneral has provided the fake trust seal logos of McAfee, Norton, etc. on its checkout and product detail pages.

# Most of the scam online stores don’t provide their company’s address or contact phone number. Some scam online stores provide fake contact details. So, always check the provided contact details are real or not before shop from any new online stores. In the case of EmGeneral, it hasn't provided its detailed company's address and has only mentioned that most of its team members are from Los Angeles California but hasn't provided their exact address in Los Angeles.

# Most of the scam online stores sell items at a very cheap price, so always be cautious with online stores that offer you the items on sale at a very cheap price. If something is too good to be true, then most of the time that is not true. EmGeneral is also offering a heavy discount on lots of the products listed on its website.

# Most of the scam online stores copy-paste lots of details from other scam websites. So, check the details like product details, product images, website theme, Terms of Service, About Us details, Privacy Policy, Return Policy and so on provided on any online stores match with other sites or not. Also, try to find blunders. For example, some online stores mention their Terms of Service is governed by the laws of some country but provide their company’s address which belongs to another country. So, if you find such copy-paste blunders in any online store, you should know they are not good online stores. In the case of EmGeneral, we have found it has copy-pasted lots of details from other suspicious websites. It is using the same Refund Policy that multiple scam sites are using which makes the buyer very difficult to get a refund. For example, as per its Refund Policy, the item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it and must also be in the original packaging to be eligible for a return. However, how can anyone check any item without using that. It has also listed several types of goods that are exempt from being returned. It has also mentioned that the customer will be responsible for paying for their own shipping costs for returning the item. So, it's almost impossible to get a full refund from EmGeneral.

# Try to find out the complaints posted by users. Most of the time you can find out lots of complaints posted by users of online stores if they are not doing good. Scam online stores always have a bunch of complaints and very few or almost zero positive reviews. So, check the complaints around the internet for any online stores before you purchase something from those online stores. We haven't found major complaints about EmGeneral yet but if you can find some complaints or if you have any serious complaints about EmGeneral, then please feel free to share that using the comment section below.

I purchased (4) N95 Face Masks back in February 2020. I did receive what appeared to be a bogus follow up email which seemed like an automated response about two weeks after my order was placed just letting me know they had my order and were working on it and here we are 10 weeks later and no response back. I've attempted several times to email and call and have had no response back and phony number listed on their website is not a valid number. TOTAL SCAMMERS!!! I just hate how they have taken advantage of peoples hard earned money during this unprecedented epidemic that we are experiencing due to COVID-19.

You should contact your bank or credit card company and ask them to help you with a refund. If you had paid via PayPal, then open a dispute via your PayPal account. Show them this review as a reference.
      Good Luck!

If you were scammed by this company (as was I, for $69.98), please file complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Michigan Attorney General, which is where they claim the company is located. They need to have enough complaints to do something about it. Not doing anything means they just keep getting away with it. Also, file a dispute with your credit card company or bank. I did, and they said I should be receiving my money back in 5-7 business days.

The man running EM General, Rodney L. Stevenson II has been arrested at his home in Michigan on charges of wire fraud. Here's the article about it on justice.gov.

I ordered 2 N95 masks on February 27th and never received. They changed their policy after I ordered to say now they will no longer give refunds. I've emailed multiple times asking for refunds and only have gotten automated responses. Please, file complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Michigan Attorney General, as that's where their website lists the business as being registered.

I bought two masks at around $30 each. I have sent them e-mails that we have not received the masks and they responded saying their masks were made in Turkey and had experienced a delay. They would be mailing out the masks around March 15th. We have still not received the mask so I sent another e-mail and got back a "we will respond in order received." No response e-mail has been received. I believe I ordered the masks around late January early February.

  7. Thank you! I went and bought a visa card to purchase a very nice n95/n99 $29 mask. I did not want to use my bank card on a site I never bought from before. Did not want my account emptied. The $5 fee I spent was worth the safety. I am not ordering after reading your review.
