Ellwen Review: Genuine? Ellwen Scam or Legit?

This is a review of an Ellwen to find out either is an Ellwen .com scam or a legit company. Our Ellwen review will help you to figure out whether you shall make any purchase from this online store or not.

Ellwen complaints. Ellwen fake or real? Ellwen legit or fraud?

What is Ellwen .com?

It is an online clothing store that is selling clothing and fashion products like cotton tops, two piece sets, dresses, etc. However, there are so many things you must know about it before choosing it as your shopping destination.

Ellwen is categorized as one of the not recommended sites due to the following facts on its website:

Company Address:

The parent company’s name and address of this online store is provided on its Contact Us and Terms and Conditions pages as Kentesh Ltd., 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, England, WC2H 9JQ. This parent company name and address is provided in an image format rather than directly writing on its website, which is mostly done by scam sites so that no one can find their site by searching this company name and address on Google. On top of that, there are multiple companies using this address (Source: suite.endole.co.uk and companieshousedata.co.uk). This proves it is only a virtual address used by multiple companies just to register a company in the UK Companies House by renting an address from virtual address service provider. So, this address is not a physical location of its company or store. This company name and address is also used by other suspicious sites like Melikora, Mingoko, LadyDresspp, Woshees, Frehena, LightInsation, Asoebity, Verocaber, Roeyurban, Lulional, RosaBazaar, Ordoza, Laaface, Topeke, NebulaShoe, Taramje, Gracedora, Jessiever, Lamicoe, Pelacy, Okhoodie, etc. Thus, we shall not trust this online store for any kind of online shopping.

At the time of this review, it has provided its parent company name and address Kentesh Ltd., 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, England, WC2H 9JQ, however, in the future it may change its parent company name and address since similar types of sites did change their parent company names and addresses in the past.

Discount and Sales offers:

It is claiming to sell lots of products at heavy discount rates. You should know that these days mostly scam sites are offering such huge discounts to attract people into their scam.

Copied content:

We found that the product images used for its product catalog aren’t unique, so it means that this site has either copy-pasted the image from other websites or just reselling clothing or other products. Lots of details provided on its website, including its website theme match with multiple problematic sites.

Returns and Exchange:

It has a Return and Exchange Policy which is found to be very unrealistic for the return and exchange of items. It has stated that the buyer is responsible for return shipping cost. So, it is almost impossible to get the full payment back from these kinds of websites due to their confusing provisions.

Customer Complaints and Delivery:

The customer support as well as delivery time of sites similar to this site is also very poor as per the complaints received from the buyers of similar kinds of sites.

Our Final Verdict:

Due to the above mentioned facts, we can conclude that Ellwen is one of the suspicious websites.

These days multiple new online stores are claiming to sell various items on huge discount, but most of them are scams. So, it’s better to stay away from the new online stores or at least do some research before you purchase something from the new online stores because most of these new online stores don’t deliver the purchased items to their clients or, deliver completely different or very low-quality items. Some scam online stores even have charged the credit card of clients randomly without their consent. So, if you have ever purchased mistakenly from scam sites, we suggest you immediately contact your bank or credit card company to secure your credit card information.

Good Luck!

A total scam. I really wish I had looked more into the company. I have been dealing with “gwen” since April when I returned the shirts which were absolutely cheap, not what I ordered. Gwen wan tome to keep them said it would cost alot to return, it did not only did I spend 150.00, I spent 45.00 to ship back, so I’m out of 190.00. TOTAL SCAM, CHEAP CLOTHES AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. They took my money out within seconds, called my bank when I realized it was a scam and they can’t do anything. It’s a sweat shop in China DO NOT BUY

Do not buy from this site. I did not get what I ordered, when I contacted them they said to give it away. I spent over $90, and do not know anyone that would wear the ugly items they sent.

Yes I'm one of it's victims. Same problem as the rest of you. I've got them up to a refund of $35.00 out of a sale of $109.00. I guess they will block me soon. Wished I'd had found this site first. I've been had ?

    Totally sacm.
It took me over two months to receive the order. Instead of a two-piece chiffon outfit in soft green, I got some sort of tracksuit, made of polyester knit, shapeless and poorly made. My worst purchase ever! I don't like to be lied to and I don't recommend it!
I could not comment on the site, I was not allowed.

  5. This place is a SCAM. Ordered a blouse with a cat on it and got a long sleeve t-shirt with something that resembles a cat. You will never get your money back from SCUMBAGS like these. Facebook should ban them!

  6. This is a scam. They sent me 2 of the same thing. The online photo and description said embroidered but it is a printed pattern. Really cheaply made. Looks like a child sewed it. They said it would cost me a lot of money to return. They offered 1/3 of the cost as a partial refund. They want my PayPal info but I did not pay with it. AVOID!

    1. I paid with PayPal and opened a case against them and got a full refund through PayPal. The company finally responded to me but would not give refund until I closed the dispute with PayPal. I just left it in PayPals hands and got a full refund. Good luck.
