We don't think Chill Well Air Conditioner will work as per the claims provided on its advertisement because it looks like a miniature humidifier. From the pictures of this Portable AC, we can see it's a wet sponge with the fan blowing on it. So, we don't think it can make your room cool like AC.
These kinds of devices can make your room cool only if your room is very small or if you stay near to this so-called AC, but still it won't make cool enough like AC. Even it is not user-friendly device since you need to keep on putting water to wet the sponge from time to time.
It may do more worse by making you more uncomfortable in the heat by raising the humidity. We always feel hot and humid is worse than hot, what about you? So, it looks like its claims are fake.
There are/were lots of similar types of devices with lots of complaints from users such as WillistonForce, HurricaneFreeze, ArctosPotableAC, ArcticAC, TundraBreezeAC, GetBlastAuxiliary, Blaux and so on. It looks like Chill Well Air Conditioner is just a new name of such devices.

LOL!!!! Chillwell claims they have breakthrough technology that make AC Systems obsolete. I hate to inform everyone but evaporative cooling was first discovered by ancient Egyptians. It works when water evaporates, the changing of state from water to vapor creates a cooling effect via latent heat of vaporization. Its effectiveness is based on ambient humidity levels. If the air is already humid, say over 80%, the amount of water that can evaporate is very limited, therefore very little removal of heat is achieved. These systems are more likely to be effective in dryer / desert type climates with low humidity levels. My grandmother had a similar swamp cooler on her old west Texas farm house which they had used in a house they built back in early 1900’s. Back then, it was the best solution available to them and it was reasonably effective for them.
POOR QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE! NEVER GOT OUR REFUND! We bought three units but were disappointed in the quality and performance so we promptly returned them with the Return Authorization Number and we’re told as soon as we provided them a tracking number for the return, we would be immediately issued a refund. That was a MONTH AGO and we STILL HAVEN’T GOTTEN OUR MONEY BACK!
This is the scam of the century. I can blow harder with compromised lungs than this machine. I bought 4 and 4 are being returned. You need to put your face in front of the machine to feel any breeze. What a waste of money.

Don’t fall for the BS! Chilwell is just another Scam outfit trying to steal your hard earned money. I fell four this scam and received my units about 60 days after ordered. They are nothing more than a mini swamp cooler that works very poorly. Don’t even think about it if you suffer from sinus problems. Save your money and get a real ac unit. These units are junk!
