If yes, then be cautious — these messages are phishing scams.

Scammers are sending out these fake texts to trick people into clicking malicious links and giving away personal information. Messages like:
“CashApp YourName, you had received a direct deposit of $750” followed by a suspicious link (e.g., mcsbn6m com) are not from CashApp or any real company.

These scams are crafted to look like legitimate messages, but their only goal is to steal your sensitive information like login credentials, credit card numbers, or even infect your device with malware.
