Arctic Air (also known as Arctic Air Ultra Portable in Home Air Cooler or Arctic Air Conditioner or Arctic Air Pure Chill Evaporative Ultra Portable Personal Air Cooler), doesn’t seem to be have an efficiency as per its advertisement claims. Well, let’s find out either is a Arctic Air scam or genuine and what is Arctic Air in real through our Arctic Air review here.
What about Arctic Air Portable AC? Does it work as per its claim?
We don’t think Arctic Air Conditioner will work as per the claims provided on its advertisement because it looks like a miniature humidifier. From the pictures of this Portable AC, we can see it’s a wet sponge with the fan blowing on it. So, we don’t think it can make your room cool like AC.
These kinds of devices can make your room cool only if your room is small or if you stay near to this so-called AC, but still it won’t make cool enough like AC. Even it is not user friendly device since you need to keep on putting water to wet the sponge from time to time.
It may do more worse by making you more uncomfortable in the heat by raising the humidity. We always feel hot and humid is worse than hot, what about you? So, it looks like its claims are fake.
There are/were lots of similar types of devices with lots of complaints from users such as TundraBreezeAC, GetBlastAuxiliary, Blaux and so on. It looks like Arctic Air is just a new name of such devices.

Important information:- These days multiple new online stores are claiming to sell various items at a huge discount or at a higher price by showing fake discounts, but most of them are scams. So, it’s better to stay away from the new online stores or at least do some research before you purchase something from the new online stores because most of these new online stores don’t deliver the purchased items to their clients or, deliver completely different or very low-quality items. Some scam online stores even have charged the credit card of clients randomly without their consent. So, if you have ever purchased mistakenly from scam sites, we suggest you immediately contact your bank or credit card company to secure your credit card information.
It is an evaporative cooler, also known as a swamp cooler. It may cool you if you live in a dry area like Arizona but not if you live in a hot and humid area like the Southeastern United States. It works by evaporating water by blowing a fan over it similar to the way a breeze feels cool as it evaporates the sweat off your skin. When the humidity is high, the air is already laden with moisture and this cooler will be useless.
Not worth the $39.99 I paid at Walmart. What misleading ads. I can provide as much cool air by using a handmade fan.
This WILL NOT work in hot and humid environment! It is nothing more than what the RV industry calls a swamp cooler. Save your money! Do NOT BUY this or any other swamp cooler……..
