Here is one example of such posts: "ALDl FREE Hamper For Everyone. ALDl is going to celebrate its 75th anniversary on March 23, 2021, and In order to help our loyal customers every single person who has shared & commented before 11PM Monday will be sent one of these hampers containing a $75 ALDI gift-card plus surprises that will make your heart flutter!"

As per these fake claim posts, if you click the link and register and share them and comment on the posts, you will get a $75 ALDI gift-card plus surprises. So, people are sharing these posts and commenting on them. But once they shared and commented, they didn’t get those $75 ALDI gift-card and surprises but only offers to sign up for credit cards and other subscriptions. These fraudulent social media posts are not from any genuine companies but are from scammers to get your personal information so that they can scam you. They may ask you to click some link and submit the personal details on the fake website posing the real ones or call them or message/reply to them where they will trick you to submit your personal details. So, you should not follow any instructions provided in these kinds of social media posts or click any link or download anything (if provided any) or follow any instructions. The links or files provided on these social media posts may also contain some viruses or malware or spyware that can hack your device as well.

These kinds of posts also trick you to share these posts so that the social media pages related to these posts will get some followers. Once these scammers got enough numbers of followers on their social media pages, they will rename their social media pages and will sell to third parties as per the number of followers they have.
