I think they're collecting credit card details. I attempted a purchase against my better judgement and the card failed. It did a check to see if the card was legit (I had a notification from my bank to tell me they'd checked the validity of the card). It then asks you to use a different one, which also failed. Yeh I'm that gullible today, unfortunately. They now have two lots of my card details.
