There are certain countries in the world which are considered to be the most peaceful countries. We know today the world is facing violence, conflicts, and wars internally or externally, nationally or internationally. But in 2017, many parts of the globe gain peace than in 2016. Ninety-three countries get more peace and 68 countries get less peace as per GPI in 2017. So being categorized as the most peaceful countries is the most prestigious thing in itself. Because it largely contributes to the growth of the country. And we can also travel or plan to live in one of those countries without any doubt in mind, just get relax, feel secure and enjoy the life.

So, let’s find out the list of most peaceful countries in 2018 as below.

As per 2018 Global Peace Index (GPI), here are the most peaceful countries in the world:

1. Iceland: Iceland is the most peaceful as well as the smartest country in the world. It lies in the European continent and Reykjavík is the capital city. So much peace that there are no army forces in Iceland. The crime rate is almost zero. There is a female president with high involvement of women in politics and other major sectors of the country. There is a high level of gender equality, low incarceration and high level of democracy. The education system is of best quality with free. And so the literacy rate is also very high. The country is completely protected with viruses as mosquitoes are completely eliminated from the country.

2. New Zealand: New Zealand lies in Oceana and Wellington is the capital city. The country is very famous for their world-class education system. The crime rate is very nominal and the civilization is very high. Their medical system is also best known for quality service at the lowest cost. The cities are very clean and safe for the residency.

3. Austria: Austria lies on the European continent and Vienna is the capital city. Being one of the richest countries in the world, Austria highly maintains the peace and dignity of their land. The crime rate and homicide are very nominal. The cities are dignified with cleanliness and safety environments. And the transportation system is also excellent. The country highly supports an eco-friendly lifestyle.

4. Portugal: Portugal lies on the European continent and Lisbon is the capital city. The country has improved its safety and security measures, most importantly has hugely settled the external conflicts and listed in the most peaceful countries list. 13. Australia:- Australia is considered to be the land of opportunities. The education system is very famous. The serious crime rates are nominal and the health care service also best. The country is beautified with different cultural values.
