I purchased the Marc Thomas edition 8 black and gold watch limited edition of 1000 units in the world for 99 dollars after seeing a Facebook ad on my feed. I later saw this exact watch with the Lige name on Temu for 16.98. This makes me believe that the Marc Thomas watch is not his original design but a watch bought in bulk for less than 16.98 then put his name on it and engrave the back of the watch as edition number 8 1 of 1000. Then sell for 99. Dollars. If you buy 1000 of these watches from a wholesaler for say 10 dollars then brand it with your name on it and resell for 100 dollars, a profit of 90,000 dollars could be possible. Repeat this formula multiple times as Marc Thomas does with his other editions and see what happens. The watch looks nice but the bracelet is cheap and thin and the gold is just a thin piece of foil like material on the outside surface. It does seem to keep good time and looks nice from a glance. You can find the same Marc Thomas watches for 169.00 dolllars under the LIGE name on Temu for under 20 dollars.
If its a scam I guess I'll learn the hard way and $99 later. I collect watches so it'll go into my cheap watches category. But yet to see waiting for my order as I write this comment. Good luck everyone and happy watches collecting ?
It's a $19.99 Drug Store watch with "Marc Thomas" printed on the face. After I paid the $99, I found the same watch on the internet for $7.99. BUT, the watch works and keeps good time.
