What is GeneratorLegend.com?

It is an online shopping store that is selling Generators of different brands like Honda, Champion, Westinghouse, etc. However, there are so many things you must know about it before choosing it as your shopping destination.

GeneratorLegend / Generator is found to be a fraudulent site due to the following reasons:

Company Contact Information:

Its email address i.e. xiongzhi1982@outlook.com is a free email address but not its domain specific one and found to be provided by other suspicious sites like CumminsWholesale, CheapGenerator2, CheapGenerator1, etc.

Security of the website:

It has provided the fake trust seal logos of Norton, McAfee, etc. on its few Product details pages. So if you shop at this site, your personal and financial information such as your credit card information might be stolen.

Discount and Sales offers:

It is selling generators at as unrealistic discount offers which only the scam and problematic sites can afford to offer.

Copied content:

Lots of content as well as website theme match with multiple similar types of scam sites selling generators.

Its domain name i.e. GeneratorLegend.com and website name i.e. Generator are different but legit websites don’t put their website name differently than their domain name and this name is also used on its website pages instead of its domain name which is very unprofessional.

Customer Complaints and Delivery:

The customer support as well as delivery time of sites similar to this site is also very poor as per the complaints received from the buyers of similar kinds of sites.

Based on all the above mentioned facts, it is concluded that GeneratorLegend / Generator is one of the scam websites.

These days multiple new online stores are claiming to sell various items on huge discount, but most of them are scams. So, it’s better to stay away from the new online stores or at least do some research before you purchase something from the new online stores because most of these new online stores don’t deliver the purchased items to their clients or, deliver completely different or very low-quality items. Some scam online stores even have charged the credit card of clients randomly without their consent. So, if you have ever purchased mistakenly from scam sites, we suggest you immediately contact your bank or credit card company to secure your credit card information.

Good Luck!

  1. Hello, This is in fact a very smart con. I guess cause it worked on me and as per the above obvious, I am the only one to blame. Important note… the part that got me in the con was that it was shipped via PayPal with a tracking number. So I received an unsolicited facemask in the mail with the tracking number. This makes that PayPal can<t do anything … or refuses to, because as per tracking number. Well played. I deserve it.

And a scam it is. Trusting on the FaceBook ad source I sent in my $99. Almost two months (and many inquiries) later my generator arrived in a carefully packaged padded envelope. What a $99 generator looks like resembles a disposable anti-COVID 10-cent face mask. Strongly worded letter to follow.
FaceBook has taken down the ad, but the Generator-Legend.com website is still live. Caveat emptor!

If it looks like a turkey and gobbles it's probably a turkey!! selling a $1199.0 generator that weighs 47 lbs for $90.00 plus free shipping is very unrealistic!!
